Groves has always struggled to think of what to say, apart from I was robbed, I should be the World champion, boring boring boring, and this clip just showed how boring he is,Froch does not struggle with his words,in comparison to Groves. Georgee boy is just that,a boy and a boring one.....

I thought groves fell apart a bit at times there but it won't matter on fight night, can't wait for this it's going to be one hell of a fight and one I think we are guaranteed of seeing a knockout in.

I'm baffled how anyone can say 'Groves looked lost' or 'Froch look composed'.

Someone said 'Froch picking up his water' even looked unnerved - Christ, the fact he was constantly grabbing at his glass of water is a sign in itself of unease.

I don't think these little shindigs mean all that much, but of the two it's clear as crystal that Froch is far, far more stressed in these encounters than Groves is. It's clear as daylight.

Groves destroyed Froch in the first part - Carl constantly contradicting himself and reaching for his water. I think Froch got the better of him in the second part but that first half was so one-sided it was ridiculous.

Terrible reading of the show by people. Not that it will effect the fight in any way but...

Groves was not at all flustered and his failure to answer questions was purely because Froch told him to and he refuses to be dictated to by Froch. Froch has performed better this time but he had to. It still looks manufactured and his hands were sweating throughout hence rubbing his trousers constantly. Groves genuinely believes he has Froch beaten all ends up and showed as much first fight - how could he not be confident?

Used to be a massive Froch fan but can't stand the guy. International superstar comment was most certainly not tongue in cheek

It's not really about the verbal exchanges.

These little encounters are, in the grand scheme of things, meaningless. But if you're using them to gauge psychology then it's about what is not said, rather than what is said. Look at the ticks and contortions (as an example) of Froch when being talked to. It's these nervous habits and ticks that betray unease - hence it's pretty clear, if you read both men, that Froch is far more stressed in these encounters than Groves is; the later seems to be very collected and concentrated. Most likely a reflection of the two's personalities.

His refusal to answer questions directly is not a momentary 'loss of words' - Christ, how could anyone conclude that?

I'd like to see Groves take things a little less seriously at these kind of promos etc.
The part where Froch said 'let me guess, it will be a left or a right' and Groves giggled was good, if Groves was like that at all times I think Froch would be even more seething.

Said it before - Fair play to Groves for pulling Carl up on the whole 'I'm a superstar/warrior' nonsense that he constantly spouts, and not giving him any respect.

think Froch came off better at all and will explain why.

I think we all got used to watching Froch get angry with Groves and it seems Froch is trying to hold his emotions together and doing it to a degree, but I think Froch is still very edgy. It was not long ago that Froch pushed Groves.
Someone who does not know much on boxing or the opponents saw a highlight to the Gloves are off and asked me if something was wrong with Froch. When I asked why they said he seemed nervous and rattled.
Looking at Frochs face, I felt his smiles were put on to try and show a relaxed look, but I was not convinced about it.
Groves I think was also sometimes a bit irritated at times, but Groves has shown when DeGale was in a war of words with him, that he can hold it together.

For the first fight, I placed 2 bets for Groves to win. One just for a Groves win and the other for Groves to win by KO/TKO.
I think Froch will try and box more with combinations and try and rush in and out against Groves, which may give him greater success.
Its a tough fight to call and I am a fan of both fighters, but I am going to go with

again and wont be shocked if it ends inside the distance.
Saying that Its such a tough fight to call I wouldnt be shocked whichever way it goes but im sticking with Groves.

    Edit

Back to the Gloves are off.
One thing I noted was how George wouldnt answer questions at times and I think its all part of how Groves wont let Froch control him or gain control, which I think Carl likes to have

All Froch did was try to belittle George at every attempt.

Froch didn`t look cool at all infact he looked more stressed and nervy.

Means nothing come fight night as I think George is just too good for him and Froch isn`t going to be a defensive master at the age of 37.
