Because Brits can't appreciate anything of merit or hard work. They usually pass their blame onto America, the Asian immigrants who make up 60% of NHS, Poles who stay in slush during winter to build their houses
Got **** all to do with where the boxers are from. I like groves as he has the better style which appeals to me
I live up north and I dislike Carl Froch. Respect him for what he's done throughout his career though.
Respect Froch for what he's done as a fighter, but hoping Groves does a job on him just like I did in there 1st fight. ...and I live closer to Nottingham than I do London
Ive got a feeling they are both pretty decent lads. They're both intelligent also. They've both just brought the worst out of each other. This will change after the fight, they'll accord each other the respect they deserve.
I'm a Londoner. I like Froch because he's always in excting fights, he's a warrior, and he'll fight anyone. He's arrogant but so are most boxers. I find Groves just to be a bit of a whiner.
I'd go along with that. Regarding the Froch hate specifically. It has only come about since the Groves fight. He has gained a following from all over. If you have been to a Froch fight at Nottingham Arena you will know that there are lads from London, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow etc.. all there in big numbers. Froch was made to look stupid before the last fight by Groves which didn't help and he was very ungracious after the fight which has contributed to the dislike. I feel sorry for him a bit though because it took him years to get the limelight and wider acknowledgment he deserves and craved for his boxing career and in one fight it has all unravelled for him.
Froch came across horribly back in the BBC/Hennessy days. Anyone remember him saying he was a greater sportsman than David Beckham? That went down like a lead balloon. Truth be told, he's been a PR disaster since day one and only his great run of fights has helped pull him out of the mire. He's become semi-popular based on his wins, not his personality.
