OH I see what you mean Gannicus. Yorgey said no Nicklow said no Pryor reaching out to his people might be too heavy Sigmon said no
Cool, I hope it's opened up more options for Ievgen to pursue in that case. I'm impressed and excited that you asked these guys to fight Khytrov. They are a step up in competition but the level Khytrov would benefit from. I see, Pryor is a little heavy and he's not easy to knock out either, with only Adonis doing so. Although I would say that Pryor would be extremely vulnerable to Khytrov, particularly on the body punches and I'd predict a KO. If it's a 6 rounder, it will benefit Pryor a little more than if it was an 8 or 10 rounder however especially considering Pryor's age. Beating Pryor Jr would draw attention to Khytrov. Khytrov isn't a stranger to fighting the bigger guy too, i.e Jas Phipps was 175lbs at the start of 2013. Since Khytrov is focussed on improving his game and there are places which do need improving, matching him the way you generally have been is probably what's best for him, with small-mid sized middleweights preferably, making it that extra bit easier for Khytrov to get a KO.
Golub vs Khytrov in sparring today. Khytrov goes june 6 and July 10th. Golub pro debut July 23. Not happy about the wait but he will be 3-0 or 4-0 by Dec.
Will June 6th be on ESPN? Was there ever any attempt to put him on the Provodnikov or Golovkin cards? How would you measure him right now with say Kopylenko and Bursak?
Nice to see a manager of a high profile prospect on these forums. When will he be fighting 10 round fights?
Ievgen is concentrating on Chatman and is ready to go. He will not be on the June 15th show. He will be fighting again july 10th or July 25th. The team wants to see how he does. If he looks real good. I like Louis Rose. We will fight 2-3 eight rounds then 10 rounds.
Looking for Ievgen 8-0 by Dec then We go after Rosado!! I think we beat him now. Dont think he would fight us till HBO is involved
Just watched the video. Gets hit a bit more than you would expect for a guy with that record and pedigree. It will be interesting to see how he develops. Good luck to him.
He was signed with Showtime, but that was before he lost to Quillin and Charlo. I think he's a bit too dangerous for Kytrov this year. Yeah Khytrov's a higher pedigree and should beat him, but he'd take unneccesary punishment in the process. Needs more pro experience. I remember when Jeff Lacy fought Donnell Wiggins, clearly a step above Wiggins but what a war it turned into. That takes miles of some guys. Rosado could easily do that with Khytrov in a losing effort.
Not sure if he is. If Ievgen looks real good especially on D we go right after Louis Rose. if not we fight a chris Chatman type. 8 rounds for NABF belt. Not lets all remember this is boxing things can change frequently
