    Should've gone to specsavers.

You're quite wrong here I'm afraid. He could be Culkin's (RIP) twin brother. The similarity, especially in the mouth/jawbone area, is uncanny. Have another look.

After reading the post about the missus watching and seeing what she though I just made mine do exactly the same. Sound off and I watched it again as well.

She saw the rounds a hell of a lot closer than I did and watching it back I realise I was seeing the rounds with a bias towards Groves the first 3 times I have watched it. We agreed the winner up until the point of stoppage was Groves but watching it back with her defiantly made me realise it wasn't as wide a gap as I thought.

Most interestingly though she thought both men were pretty much gone in the ninth. Without any prompting she said towards the start of the round, the guy in the black looks done. Then when it did get stopped I asked what she thought and she said the guy in the blue did look pretty gone but the fella in the black looked close as well.

I then made her watch some Mayweather highlights but that has nothing to do with this thread : )

    Groves ftw.......its going to be a cr4ck3r!

    ; ) does sound a bit silly doesn't it.

In all seriousness though if you have one, and can get her to sit down and watch boxing then I would defiantly recommend it. Mine had a completely unbiased view (red shorts or black shorts) and was just reacting to what she saw. They get more of a general vibe of how the fighters are doing rather than scoring shots etc. When I watched it back with her my view of the fight did honestly shift. Still had Groves winning but not by such a substantial margin.

She did give in my opinion some credit to both fighters where it wasn't due at times because she was crediting shots that were landing on leather.

But i would say she knows more than most of you, obvious Groves ass lickers , She's been watching Boxing , Ameteur and Pro , for over 40 years , , Watched the 4 men in her life , ME the good looking one , and 3 sons , have over 400 fights between us , ameteur and pro , .Went with me to ameteur shows for 30 years to watch the kids i trained .

So all in all i would'nt say she's an expert , but by christ she knows more than most who only follow boxing for the big fights .

Plus she was right , Watt was biased , the fight was a lot closer on points than most think , and the stoppage although looking premature , was a decent stoppage , cos Grove was gassed and the shots he took were unanswered .

Me personaly i think Groves was slighlty ahead by 2 rounds , he should of let it go on a few more punches , But then again , i would'nt of had to live with it , if he had of let that extra couple of punches go , and Groves got hurt seriously , remember Watson , Owen and others .
