I think both sides just don't want to let the other get their way. If Froch wanted a 1pm weigh in Groves would want it at 2pm and vice versa.

Nah, Froch wanted it as late as possible because he's banking on Groves being too big for the weight and being weight drained. Froch was probably at 12 stone weeks ago. If Groves has done the weight well, and takes off only a couple of pounds the night before, he could really surprise Froch on the night.

He won't surprise Froch, Froch is fully expecting to take a beating.

Groves is too profesional for the weight to be an issue in the biggest fight of his life , 10. 12 or 3 o clock weigh in it won't matter he'll make the weight , both of them will .

What did both weigh in on fight day last time? I'll assume GG packs on a fair bit more than Carl.

For the last fight weigh in....

    Groves weighed in at 11st 12lb 6oz

    Froch weighed 11st 13lb 12oz

So Groves took off around a 1lb & half too much because he outweighed Froch by 3 or 4lb on fight night (from memory so not exact).

Having the weigh in 4PM is just for Sky Sports to show it live but Sky Sports have shown weigh in's at 1PM before. I think Froch is hoping Groves ends up struggling with weight.

Yep. It has nothing to do with what Sky Sports want. This is what Froch and Hearn want. Simple as that - as he'd say.

They know they need every advantage they can get this time round and Froch is relying on Groves struggling to make weight :patsch

I would'nt read to much into it , George has proven time and again , he's no push over , he knows he's in the biggest fight around , and whats more he knows without him it don't go on .

I've got NO DOUBT that if he really did'nt want it , , and threatened not to show up they would'nt call his bluff . Its more likely tv thats dictated it and both him and Froch are going with the flo , after all its part of there contract to do the publicity thing .

Is it speed he is going for as he knows Groves kills him with this?

Groves is looking broad on the shoulders - KO?

Froch will be knocked out as sure as night follows day, the effects of the 1st fight on Froch will be evident from the first bell, SGG will have him out of there in 3 max.

Some of the extra behind the scenes shots in tonight's show put a different spin on some of the events we've already seen.

Froch still ****ed in the head.
