Fighters from 3rd world countries more tougher?

Ya Eastern Europe is not third world neither is mexico

 

I don't know that they are tougher or else more of them would be champions. I think a lot of the time they come to boxing with a different philosophy about the sport: who, how, and how often they should fight. Sakio Bika isn't tougher than Carl Froch and Andre Ward, for instance. Beibut Shumenov isn't tougher than Bernard Hopkins and Jean Pascal. A lot of the best guys are from the U.S. and the U.K.

i dont know man india and ****stan and them similar/ same countries/ race are pretty rough and poverty stricken and you all know about these guys/ race and their fighting capabilities

Maybe boxing isnt the premier sport in some of these countries?

Look at where most of the worlds best boxers come from, boxing is a huge sport in these regions. UK, eastern europe, Puerto Rico, Mexico etc. Interesting, that interest in boxing in the US is dwindling and thus producing less talent than they have done in the past.

Wherever boxing is a huge sport, thats where the talent comes from. Boxing is not huge in India or Pakstan because they prefer cricket.

 

Don't know if they are really tougher, but some different races have different genetics.
If you look at marathons or other running competitions it is being dominated by East-Africans (Kenyans/Ethiopians/Eritreans).
Lift-weighting is dominated by Eastern Europeans like Turks and Romanians, while the Chinese are good at gymnastics and Table Tennis :roll:

Don't know if toughness has to do where you come from, but I think it's a combination of genetics and your past. People who live in the streets or who have to survive to stay alive are tough. The people from 3th world countries are not always sleeping in a comfortable bed or do have plenty of food to eat, which makes them survivors, and if survivors give up, they die, so they have to be be tough.

 

Is there such thing as a 2nd world country and can someone give me an example?

 

1st world-developed countries ,USA,Canada,most of Europe ,Japan ,South Korea

2nd world-developing countries -Mexico, a lot of Eastern European countries , Philippines and basically most of the countries in the world

3rd world- a lot of countries in Africa, a few in a Asia and I think 1 or 2 in Central America


Almost all of the countries being talked about here aren't 3 world countries

a malnourished fighter would be easier to knockdown but not to knockout. The fighter would keep going until his body gives out due to pure fatigue. If his body does not give out he will stand there and receive as much punishment as physically possible up to a point which can cause death. Compare the deaths that happen in other countries as opposed to those in the U.S. and the U.K. then take a look at the weight classes and you will see that the majority happen at lower weight classes. as far as your glass chin comment from 1st world countries now you are talking about punch resistance, genetics etc and that is a whole different subject all together.

 

Not all EE countries are third world. Czech is a great country with history, tourism etc. Russia is a world power.
Third world countries there are Belarus, Poland, maybe Ukraine.
