Is Degale worthy of being in the mix with Groves and Froch?

There seem's to be a lot of talk of him facing the winner, but why?

Degale, IMHO, hasn't done a single thing to warrant a fight with either of the two other than be a Matchroom/British fighter in the same division.

He isn't blowing people or fighters away, his biggest win is against Paul Smith (and it was his career best performance, IMO) and he just seem's miles behind Groves and Froch.

    Anyone else agree?

He beat Groves so he's definitely up with the ginger whinger. Possibly a little bit to do before you can say he's up there with Carl though

Chunky looks a frustrated fighter and not looked very impressive since the Groves fight.

Using you logic groves had done nothing to 'warrant' a shot at froch.

I was at the Degale-Groves fight and thought it could have gone either way, with a slight preference for Degale.

Groves hasn't done a lot since that fight, apart from a defeat against Froch, despite a good performance.

Id much rather see Degale-Groves than Degale-Froch.

Maybe not in resume terms but talent wise he's around that level, there have been less deserving world title challengers before degale. That said I think he needs a few more wins before he should get a shot at froch or groves, depending on the winner.

Degale yet to prove himself for me,Chunky needs a very impressive display in his next fight, and not a boring points majority win over Brandon Gonzales, and then he might get a chance to fight the winner of C F and G G,

    Groves v Degale wasn't a robbery.

It was a close fight, Groves got the decision end of story.

Groves threw more shots, landed more shots and made Degale fight the fight he wanted to fight to which CHUUUUUUUUUUUUNKY didn't have the answers to in order to get a decisive win.
