a brutal war with Povetkin winning a decision, Sasha has a tendency to underestimate less skilled brawlers (see Huck fight)
Povetkin didn't look to be in the greatest shape in the stare down I saw between them so it might not be the one sided beat down I was expecting. I don't rate Charr at all, he makes Arreola look skillful and he doesn't even hit hard. No head movement, easy to hit, terrible, footwork, balance and when he goes to the body he is bolt up right with his chin in the air. I expect Povetkin to stop him round the 7-9th round. Charr will do what he always does and may have some success early by simply outworking Povetkin but he'll end up getting hit too much to land his own shots. If it was a fitter Povetkin I'd think he do him inside 6 rounds.
Why is Povetkin still fighting? He made millions in his last fight. He wont be a champ in Klitschko era.
Well Wlad is fading so may retire in a couple of years and even if he doesn't Povetkin can still become WBA regular champ again and make decent money defending it.
Povetkin just a year ago was a clear cut above the highly overrated Charr. Losing 12 rounds to Wladimir with some time off before and after... who knows how he will look. He is not a young buck anymore, either. So much is made of Povetkin's conditioning and I will say that he looks to be in the best shape he ever has for this fight. Even if Povetkin has regressed heavily, as long as he isn't gun shy like a 38 year old, he should take a close decision over Charr.
Povetkin looked great at the weigh ins, he's clearly taking his career more serious than ever... Povetkin by stoppage in 6...
Did you see Povetkin at the weigh ins dude? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VxfJ19-Bkv0 He looks anything BUT fat, and yeah, I think it's time Charr starts showing up to fights in better shape...
