Antonio margarito was falsely accused

All I see is a whole lot of nothing that doesn't even come close to answering my question, which is exactly the point, it is completely inexplicable...until you find out he was loading his gloves, then it all makes sense. You can go entire life without seeing one of the things Margarat has done, and yet he's done multiple things you will never again see in your life, and yet choose to believe he did them all legally even after having been caught attempting to load his gloves???...the amount of ignorance that would take is stupfiyingly staggering.

 

Many people here talked about Pacquiao's loaded gloves in his fight against Margarito. Was that true? Any evidence?

 

Ok. Assuming you are right and they were railroaded. Where are the dollars to be made from it? What is the benefit?

The reason Margarito got off as easy as he did has been explained, ad nauseum, as well. Capetillo took the hit. Margarito was guilty of only attempting to fight with loaded gloves. Had the insert been found after the fight, do you think he still eould have gotten off so easy ?

 

There may be some truth to this, although i dont agree with the entire post. Pacqiauos gloves/hand wraps to raise question marks.

Prior to the fight there was some noise being made from Pacqiauos camp about Margarito was fighting with a beard and how they wanted it shaved off, yet Pacqiauo himself on fight night, came with a beard

 

umm, one of the 2 competing promotional outfit was promoting the fight (im not sure if it was a co-promotion with gbp or if mosley was still with gbp at the time).

gbp had a lot to gain with margo losing and getting punished.

over years it seems pretty which side commissions were on. plus, mosley winning, gbp will have better chance of getting his services as a possible future pedjr opponent than margo. or a winning mosley vs. pedjr is a lot better than a losing mosley vs. pedjr.

the commision in general has shown it can be dictated upon, bullied or influenced, this case is no different.

they allowed nazzeeem to decide it for them.

they could have jumped on it and declare that, there will be no judgment until thorough and deeper investigation is done.

instead, they have backed themselves into a corner, when right there and then, it was perceived that margo was cheater or attempting to cheat.

they had no other recourse but to penalize him. the investigation was just a formality.


the capetillo part is easy to explain. they could easily threaten that if he did not accept responsiblity, the brunt of the penalty falls on margo.

between margo and capetillo getting a lifetime ban, this is easy.
and why capetillo didnt bother to sue? i mean how much is this guy earning vs. how much he is potentially going to spend on the case?

just go somewhere else.


you have one commission banning someone for attempting to use a used pad/plaster/ or w/e, then you have one commission allowing a loaded weapon to go into a match.


doesnt make sense.

 

I guess it you look hard enough you can find something.

Or it could just be that the guy got caught.

On one hand you have a massive, multi-entity conspiracy which involves officials, promotional companies, fighters, their trainers, inspectors and commissions. All who are willing to testify( and apparently purger themselves) under oath as to what they saw/learned.

Margarito just got caught with what he was actually caught with on his hands immediately before a fight.

the same type of commissioners who allowed a loaded weapon in a match?

or the ones who just kept quiet when one guy kept them in their place by disallowing gloves they already approved?

it's not conspiracy theory when throughout history, these people allowed themselves to be pprostituted all in the name of boxing dollars.

The proof for me was after than his alleged so-called "power" that he was notorious for breaking down opponents with was non-existent after that.

People lie, and cheat but Boxing don't lie if you trained poorly, ate poorly, or mentally not there it shows in the ring.


Margarito's post-incident performances are what sealed it for me.


Also, he was only given a year because he was caught "trying" to load up "before" the fight.

Had he been caught "after" he would have been punished like Resto or even worse.


It also my opinion that Garcia's "knew" which is why Robert let Pac beat him into the pulp he did where other corner(s) stop the bout, he felt like Margarito "deserved" it.
