7-5 mayweather. If you scored 9 or 10 round for mayweather, you either hate maidana, don't know boxing or really like may.

What's kiling me is, some of these clows arguing that the fight was so close that maidana could have won 5 rounds...In what mothgerfdckin universe? Maidana didn't come CLOSE to winning 5 rounds...If he had, the judges would have given him the decision.

But that's how certain fans are...their guy loses 10 rounds, they wanna say it was close or a draw. Their guy wins 5 rounds and they wanna claim he clearly won the fight tlike they do with jlc.

Floyd didn't dominate like he usually does?...More bullsh8t. floyd won this fight by a wide, lopsided margin. If it was just a couple of no-names, just "fighter a" and "fighter b" in there, maidana would have ended up with TWO rounds max.

I actually LIKE maidana. He's one of my favorite fighters. But let's face it, he was completely outclassed. Maidana's strategy was to come in almost 20 lbs heavier than mayweather and try and bull-rush mayweather by putting his head down and swinging and swinging and swinging and swining and using his head, elbow, low-blows, whatever to crowd mayweather and wear him out with Maidana's sheer size, youth and volume punching. Because Maidana knew he couldn't compete on any level with Floyd's skills. mayweather simply made Maidana miss practically EVERY punch he threw while countering with shots to the head and body. Mayweather didn't even have to work hard for this win.

but the hysterical fans who could SEE that maidana was missing everything still screamed like he was winning...like they were trying to convince themselves and everybody else. Well, being in denial and cheering real hard for the guy getting his head snepped back with jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts doesn't do a damn thing for you but make you look like a mental case...and to me, it really looked like the people calling maidana the winner and parading him after he had just gotten abused in the ring were so traumatized by years of floyd beating the sh8t out of their fighters that the had a mass-mental breakdown.

Anyone who claims that fight wasn't competitive is a ***** with an agenda. It was very competitive.

this fight just proved that his claim of TBE is not applicable. he he he. no one is unbeatable. even the top ten greatest have losses to lesser known opponents. atleast floyd showed how he weathered the argentinian storm.

latinos have this thing called "magical realism" where they dream up a fantasy and act like it's real, even though they know it's just a fantasy. it's a coping mechanism...look it up.

With all due respect, Mayweather is due some credit for beating Maidana

Ali at 38 was losing to Berbick and Tyson was losing to Mcbride

The fight was definitely competitive, but it definitely wasnt a Maidana win like some people are making out. I read and heard the same BS after the Cotto fight. Cotto only won a couple of rounds.

It seems like people are following Hitlers philosophy of, if you continuously tell the same lie long enough, the masses will begin to accept it as truth.

It was 7-5 Mayweather, and much closer than the Cotto fight. The Cotto fight imo wasn't all that close at all.

Floyd had more respect for Chino than Miguel .

Floyd was shockingly willing to trade with Miguel on the ropes throughout the whole fight and didn't seem worried at all by anything cotto did .

Floyd did not let his hands go the same way with Chino . Whenever Maidana bullied him to the ropes , he quickly covered up and allowed Chino to outwork him .

He did not willingly engage the same way with Maidana .

Maybe it was out of respect to Maidanas punching power , Yet I feel it had to do with Maidanas awkward style .

Yeah more likely due to Maidanas awkwardness and the fact that he came in huge during fight night, something like 20lbs over?

Maidana overall is much more unpredictable than the better schooled Cotto.

Its like Forest having an easier time with Mosely than he did with Mayorga

Maidana landed practically the same amount of punches, threw twice as many and was the aggressor throughout the fight. To say Mayweather could have won 9-10 rounds is delusional.
