Watched it again and took away some thoughts

-First round knockdown, this set the tone, Froch took a while to recover and Groves only grew in confidence. In fact I didnt give Froch a round til the 5th and probably only would give him that round and the stoppage round if it continued that way

take away the early shock factor, Froch was buzzed and surprised, imagine he gets off to a better start. Imagine he is better prepared in the rematch. This alone could prove paramount

-Groves right hand couldnt miss, but it also couldnt end the fight....Groves hit Froch with absolutely all he could and could not get him out of there. He landed repeated flush bombs and could not end the fight. Froch took the best Groves could land and kept coming, hardly a mark on his face

-Groves skin.....his face showed plenty of damage despite Froch having very limited offensive success. How much of a factor can this be? Will he swell bad? Will he cut? This is only a problem for Groves, Frochs face holds up well

-Froch's jab....Watching the broadcast again and hearing Jim Watt over and over Frawch doesnt belleev in his job over and over again made me watch for it and it was pawing it was slow and it was lazy and most of all it was countered. This punch must be improved it must be used to close the gap, he wont win on the outside but he has to jab regardless

Aggressor? Inside game? Watching again I was so impressed with Groves coming forward and backing Froch up throughout the fight and showing no respect. Froch was able to do his dirty business inside and fought with his rough tactics inside briefly but Groves held and was able to end Froch's spurts. Will Froch be able to impose himself, will Groves be able to hold his way out? Will he be penalized?

Confidence? Froch fought like he had none for most of the fight. What happens this time? He undoubtedly knows that his win and the stoppage are heavily criticized, does he feel like he won without help? Does he feel like he can beat Groves after how bad the first one went.
Reverse Groves was up big and won the fight up til that point and he looked great. Does this only push him over the top and he fights well again like the first and wins this time....Or does he come in thinking he won its in the bag Froch cant beat him and it back fires

What I do know is vs Abraham, Kessler 2, and Bute when his back is to the ropes when Froch is in a pressure situation with his back to the wall in do or die he rises up to the occasion. Vs Groves he was a heavy favorite picked to stop Groves with ease with some struggle maybe at some point but his back wasnt to the wall

some points maybe irrelevant or overthought... I figure Groves comes out and does his thing again but....We never saw a second half we never saw Groves hang on for the win in the last 3rd. What does he do in round 11 and 12? He was getting hit and was hurt at the beginning of the series that ended it. What would have happened if Froch was allowed to keep throwing and Groves kept taking would it have reached a natural end in a matter of seconds

Hard fight to pick I go Froch late stop or close decision

My mate's the chief Inspector BBBc, in that first fight, Groves corner where screaming at him to stick to the boxing (Much like Manny Steward/Hagler/Hearns) Box him! Box him! but Groves wanted the tear up! My mate was sat just feet away & thats gonna be the difference here, will Groves go all natural instinct for the toe 2 toe or will he stick to the game plane of winning by shutout or get knocked out!

things to consider....your chin doesn't improve. froch has always lacked in the defense department. groves has more room for improvement. froch is what he is....an arrogant *****. i seriously doubt groves lets him off the hook this time.

I really want groves to win but i can see froch winning

However, groves just done an interview on a radio program here in the uk and he sounded so confident as if theres no way he can get beaten. Makes me believe in groves

ye but he got beaten. he was gassing and folding like a deck chair. thats what alot of people miss out, it was a bad stoppage but groves had him at that point.

Psychologically who is worse off from the 1st fight, Froch took the best Georgie had and it wasn't enough to stop him. Groves caught him while he was being reckless, Froch didn't think Groves had that kind of power he underestimated him, well he's not anymore and he'll be more cautious early on.

Groves on the other hand knows he has stamina issues that haven't been corrected from the Degale fight, and Froch was pouring on the pressure and had him verging on being out on his feet. He knows had the fight continued it would have gone the same way the Taylor and Bute fights went. Froch is a beast when he smells blood and would not have let him off the hook.

Froch's mistake can be corrected, Groves stamina and chin can't.

There is potential that Groves whinged and moaned his way into being put into a coma, the ref won't want to stop it when he is hurt again, and that could get him seriously hurt.

You could at least add "no homo" to the end of that statement.
