Yeah I agree, that's not my point. My point is that golovkin has a great chin and won't be knocked out in the opening rounds against jones jr.

I brought 154 pounders up because he is insinuating that Jones never fought a puncher like Golovkin whos' reputation as devastating puncher is built on him Knocking out a few 154 pounders.

Just think.. Roy did the same thing to a now Hall of Famer up at 175.. Roy's power is way more proven.

The same reason Floyd Mayweather isn't fighting in Germany and England, he is P4P number one and fights in America...

They had to come to Roy... None did, hell Eubank even said he didn't want any part of prime Roy. Nigel Benn said he didn't mind being second to Roy.. There were comments Calzaghe made as well that he didn't want to fight Roy.

You are always pointing the finger at Roy, and can't look at anything objectively.. Because you are a hater, we both know.

Again, who has GGG fought that has near the power and speed of Jones Jr to call his chin great?

Fighters' chins held up against ATG punchers Julian Jackson and Nigel Benn for the distance but were taken out early by Roy.

You can't be too sure. Roy has that speed element, where he hits you out of nowhere, people sometimes just didn't see it coming.

I never said it wasn't. I'm just alluding to the fact that many who have got in the ring with him say he is insanely heavy handed; from sparring partners to actual fights. Yeah he's knocked out a few 154 lbers but it's not like they make up the bulk of his resume. I just hope GGG gets the chance to prove his abilities and his power over the years against better and bigger competition.

Who has GG fought period to even make this comparison? We don't know if GG can take a serious punch and Jones at 160 could behead you with a check hook.

Fair point. Anything can happen once the punches start flying.

Wow, you have trouble with the English language. Go back and read my entire post more slowly and use a dictionary to be sure you grasp the points before responding.

"... who left middleweight for higher weight divisions and bigger challenges when he was just 25 years old"

You're got a lot to work with there, take your time. Spread it out over a couple hours until you can get your arms around it.

    Could he? Yes.

Could Roy take him out? Yes.

Would've been a heck of a fight, that's for sure. I'd favor Roy, but it'd be foolish to write off GGG as a very dangerous underdog.

First off Ruiz hadn't had a KO in almost 5 years leading up to the Jones fight. The majority of his 'wins' were by close controversial Decision. James Toney has never been a savage puncher. Ever. To suggest such is pure delusion. That would be like me trying to tell you Amir Khan has a good Chin. It simply doesn't exist.

Again, I ask what 'bigger' challenges? Jones didn't fight any of the better fighters in the Divisions he went up to. James Toney being the lone exception. Additionally Jones was never THE champion in any weight class he fought in.

McClellan is American........Jones never fought a savage puncher in over 50 fights. How many other ATG's can also say that? Not many I guarantee you that.

Steve Collins confronted Roy in an American arena. Sorry, your argument doesn't hold water. McClellen and Jackson were also American. Jones wasn't going to risk that Glass Jaw. Period.
