There's a reason it took 4 years between I and II, 3 years between II and III, and 18 months between III and IV. Immediate rematches seemed obvious every time. There were no need for any interim fights. The one time JMM rejected a rematch, shortly after their first fight, was because of being low balled similar to what Koncz and Co. plan on doing yet again if they are serious with the "5 M dollar" claim this thread states. We're already almost 2 years removed from KTFO6 (by the time either will enter the ring again), so I guess we can expect some more time to go by.

Needless to say, Pacquiao deserves a slight majority of the pie. But Marquez doesn't deserve to be treated at the negotiation table as if he is Brandon freakin' Rios.

If Pac/Bradley III would net 850K buys and Pac/JMM V would net 1.4M buys, then JMM deserves to get compensated for a large % of that spread, because he and only he are directly responsible for such an increase, as Pac is the constant in the equation.
