Why is steroid abuse swept under the carpet? It is an absolute disgrace.

Max Baer famously was doing lines in between rounds against Joe Louis...

Exactly, in between rounds. The last thing you'd want is to be friending while fighting.

    It's all moot anyways.

Roberto Duran admitted to doing coke through training camp and on fight morning during his whole career.

Does everyone really think he should get his record wiped clean and be viewed as a 0-0 disgraced boxer?

    i'm not suggesting anything.

I'm not suggesting if he did, WHEN in the fight he would take it to relieve stamina loss. But clearly you would take it late in the fight.

I am just making an observation. joe thrived on extra stamina and failed to shine due to low confidence making him take on subnationals in droves. coke can give you that late burn and the confidence.

it also makes you act like a showboating ***** when you shouldn't.

also leads to marital strife. joe calzaghe is a wife cheater and is a terrible family role model.

nothing drawn from that, just observation.

This problem is mainly an emerican based problem.

Look how the American based stronghold on boxing has suddenly dropped off with improved testing.

That entire 90s era of Holyfield, ODLH, Morales, Mosley, Toney, Jones JNR was a complete joke imo. Innocent athletes had to pay 2nd fiddle to that ****.

Plenty of people who don't do coke are awful husbands and shitty fathers, so I wouldn't deduce coke created those problems.

I'm actually not refuting your theory on his confidence, plenty of people take coke to get psyched up. Speaking from personal experience, it's short lived. Sure the first few years you feel like the man, but after that, even one line will create social anxiety. However, even when you're not on it, it will give you that sense of confidence. Its almost instilled that in you. It's documented joe did it, I just can't see how he did it for fights.

Not at all, I don't think coke gives you any advantage in the ring. NO explode would give you a bigger advantage before coke.

it has to be, otherwise all the Americans would have to be thrown out of boxing.

they suffer from lack of courage, being cowards, and being all round mental midgets. they're jokes at the end of the day. weak willed jokes.

What does 3:1 mean in PED testing? 3 units of T to X units of what?

I wouldn't rule it out of making you shitty, would you?

you are doing well not being shitty, credo.

we will never know the truth about cocaine joe, true.

stop taking it btw, it ruins your nervous system by middle age.

    :patsch

Joe isn't unlike many sports stars that spend their youth and early adult hood preparing themselves most of the year for events. after years of focus on their chosen field, they find themselves at loose ends when it's all over and done with, so go crazy because they weren't able to do it when they were active.

boredom can creep in, in a big way.

but trying to smear Joe and accusing him of doing it while he was fighting is a bit low. Joe gets enough uncalled for **** as it is.

VADA don't allow those levels. it's the other one that allows it. USDA or something like that. it's the one Floyd has a private contract with.

no! those in America are the ones who do it. it's part of their culture now.

don't tar everyone with the same brush.
