http://www.yardbarker.com/boxing/articles/manny_pacquiao_joshua_clottey_fight_draws_more_than_50000_fans_to_cowboys_stadium/2244117 this is in response to anther thread saying if pacman vs mayweather would make 800 000 what a silly thread..... pacman got 50.000 just of his name against clottey ....
I assume he made the thread to counter what others were saying, that only Groves v Froch could sell-out 80,000 tickets. Of course Floyd v Pac could! 50,000 with Pac fighting in Texas is a good indicator that Pac v any big name fighter could do it. Floyd didn't sell-out the MGM 15,000 against Maidana and many of those were unpaid tickets to high rollers. But obviously Floyd v a big name could sell 80,0000 tickets especially if the tickets were not over priced.
WOW!!!! newsflash!! When did this fight happen? That's right 2010! Old News What's next you are going to tell us how many people were at Dempsey- Willard.atsch
