How did Ruiz have iron chinned Holyfield almost out on his feet? Can you explain this?

Also, if Roy's chin issues were as bad as you say, there is no way he would be able to take ANY HW punches...

Your theory has been proven wrong, through the fact that Roy won titles in 4 weight divisions. It doesn't make sense.

Actually my and others theories have been proven right. Jones handpicked the feather fisted and no skilled Ruiz to win a trinket that meant absolutely zero. He didn't make History and James Toney moved up and also beat Ruiz who has the prestigious distinction of the ONLY Heavyweight 'champion' that has lost to not one but TWO former Middleweights :rofl That is awful.

Secondly Roy clearly avoided big fights and savage punchers as he didn't fight one in his whole career. His whole resume is Hopkins and Toney. That is basically it. You can add Tarver and Ruiz if you wish but having to add those especially Ruiz tells you just how bad his resume was. Also, Jones was never THE champion in any weight class he ever fought in. Ever. Add on his Glass Jaw and all this becomes very obvious. Roy has no Chin. None.

wtf are you babbling on about? Roys whole resume is Toney, Hopkins and Tarver?

These three were THE guys to beat and he beat them. Jones has wins over the best fighters of his era, you wont gtive him credit for that, but you'll probably give Calzaghe credit for beating Jones and Hopkins.

your obsession with glass jaws is certainly worrying

Hopkins avenged his defeat and Tarver brutally KOed Roy and won a wide UD in the 3rd fight. That leaves James Toney which was a good win for Roy probably his best win.

Hopkins avenged his defeat......about 2 decades later and that hardly counts as revenge. ok it probably helps Hopkins sleep better at night, but Danny Green beat Roy in much better fashion than Calzaghe or Hopkins. So Hopkins 'win' over an old and shot Roy Jones, dont mean sh*t.

Tarver Kod Roy after he'd moved down from heavyweight. Winning the HW was a great move, but coming down and losing all that weight was a dumb move.

Roy is the only fighter in history to hold titles at MW-SMW-LHW-HW then LHW again.. which means it is history... this is not arguable, but a fact. James Toney is also a great fighter, iron chinned, and probably the best inside fighter of the past 2 decades... He also grew into HW well, and I considered him a true HW when he beat Ruiz.. Losing to Jones Jr and James Toney, no shame in that.

Yeah, moving up to SMW to fight one the best fighters alive is avoiding big fights.:patsch You probably were not watching, but there were questions as how Jones could handle Toney's power.. The announcers actually said they were impressed with Jones' chin. How could that be?:|

Arguably the other two best of the generation not named Roy Jones, ok... Not to mention the other 20 some odd future, former or current world champions that were dominated by Jones.

Ruiz was a world title fight in Roy's 4th weight class.. Roy dominated Ruiz in a way that many top HWs were not able to.. Starting at 154 and going on to dominate a top 5 heavy is imrpressive no matter how you spin it.

Also, Tarver was the top rated LHW when Roy dropped down weight drained and reclaimed his LHW crown, right before this DM was beat by a Roy victim.. Reclaiming the LHW championship in your next fight after fighting at HW is something only few have been able to accomplish. Tarver was a hungry fighter, that dreamed of beating Roy.. Roy came through with heart in the final two rounds to outpoint Tarver in a close but clear decision.. This would start a new lineage in the LHW weight class, DM's claim to being the man was gone at this point.

note- Roy held the WBA HW and Ring LHW belts at the same time.

Yes he was, see above. Also, Roy was known as the best fighter alive in the pound for pound rankings for the better part of a decade.. Some could argue this is greater than any lineal title in any single weight class. All fighters would love that honor.

Jones would not have accomplished what I listed above with a glass jaw, he didn't have chin problems until he was pretty far past his best..Anyone looking at it objectively can see this, but we both know you are not capable when It comes to Jones.

Roy is a phony-juiced up to look good and buff but burdened with a glass jaw
Any punch from a talented middleweight would take him out
The current light heavy's take him out
The Ruiz fight was theatrical and proved nothing
Yet, he's right up there as though he was indestructible and walking the walk
