Why come has a 23 year old Canelo fought BETTER opposition then 32 yr old GGG?

    anyone who thinks a 2011 ouma is as good of a scalp as trout is insane.......anyone who thinks GGG's resume is anywhere near as good as GGG's is in a verrrrryyy small minority....that minority is called "insane".....all this guy is doing is trying to discredit anyone who has been in the ring with, or been in the ring with someone who has been in the ring with, floyd mayweather.....

    he is fighting him....that alone...win or lose...is better than anything on GGG's resume.....

    Canelo's opposition up until the Trout fight was nothing special.

    Trout was decent but not all that much better than Macklin. Macklin beat Sturm and got robbed, was winning and v competitive for much of the Martinez fight when he gassed and when Martinez was top 5 P4P. Trout had the win over past prime Cotto. Canelo won a very close decision whereas GGG KO'd Macklin in 3. Mayweather fight obviously the best competition available, but Canelo did get schooled. And Mayweather picked him to fight, I'm sure GGG would jump at the chance to fight the best guys in his division only they won't fight him (Martinez, Strum, Quillin, even Chavez Jr).

    I like Canelo and he is stepping up in fighting Lara but lets not that forget that before Trout he was widely criticised for fighting bloated WW's such as Matthew Hatton and Josesito Lopez. He also has had more fights than GGG and has a huge following in Mexico which is a big help (and means it is lucrative for others to fight him because he brings a lot of money). So its not just a simple case of GGG has fought much lesser opponents than Canelo even though he is older.

    He lost 11 rounds to floyd, and beat trout by 1 point. Lara was Just signed, like I said, let them fight first.

    Angulo came off two knockout losses...do you know what that does to come forward fighters that use their face for defence? it makes them that much worse. Margarito was never the same after Pac and Shane beatings, and Angulo wasn't the same since Lara and especially Kirkland knocked him out.

    GGG fought better opposition all the way to Mayweather fight. Lara is a great fight but like I said, I see Canelo losing that fight so lets let it happen first.

    he is exactly like Margarito/Rios. And both of them are one dimensional wrecking crews that lose their **** when they fight boxers and quality counter punchers that have enough power to make them honest.

    And I don't make fun of Angulo. I have a lot of respect for any man that makes a living fighting, putting his life on the line. But I don't agree that angulo is anything special compared to lets say Stevens, who came in after career defining wins rather than two knockouts back to back.

    PS: I am not trying to discreting May. If anything, Canelo is one of his best wins in the last 5 years, and he put an absolute masterclass, beating Canelo 11-1.

    i dont disagree with much of what you say....and i respect the way you approach this with class......i respect angulo too....

    but lets not get carried away about curtis stevens here....."career defining wins"? against saul roman??? cmon though.......yeah stevens brings different things to the table than angulo.....different set.....but stevens is nothing special at all....and his career defining wins are **** imo.....he made a nice lil comeback/nice lil run after losing to jesse brinkley....but those wins were nothign special.....

    because the boxing world needs another "kid diamond" every now and then....canelo's the truth...with his looks and popularity, he can easily be doing what triple vagggina is doing...but he chooses to cement his legacy instead....

    i like GGG...i do....and i can see why people would prob avoid him....at the same time....canelos last 4 fights **** on basically GGGs pro career....and i include lara....dont care if canelo loses 10-2 to lara......were not talking about who is a better fighter.....were talking resumes here

    Risk vs reward.

    Fighters are not scare of Canelo (doesn't have 1 punch power, average speed and boxing skills)
    GGG is more feared and offers a less Financial reward.

    Never said that until after he got beat by Floyd. . . . Your just trying to hype Canelo up to be great in order to make Floyds win look better. Maidana is the true man of balls, Trashed Broner and then whooped Floyds ass right after.
