I don't care whether Rigo is in a top 10 p4p or not. I don't wanna watch him in the ring anymore. He's the most boring boxer that I have ever watched in my entire life.

i agree with the agbeko fight where he had agbeko throwing 2 or 3 punches in 1 round and rigo refused to put on a bit of added pressure on a guy that was clearly going into survival mode.

the donaire fight was great to watch tho.. to completely outclass a p4p rated opponent.. a thing of beauty

Slightly... a really great fighter but very vulnerable to certain styles, and the Donaire win has been overblown. The Darchinyan fight afterwards really diminished Rigo's performance in my eyes. And Lomachenko would demolish Rigo, Loma should pursue that fight as it will be the biggest reward for him for the least risk.

Maybe Jhonny Gonzalez should be P4P.
Maybe Mauricio Herrera should be P4P.
Maybe Marcos Maidana should be P4P.
Maybe Orlando Salido should be P4P.
They all exposed overrated hypejobs. Nonito was slightly overrated.
He took him too lightly, I predicted Rigo would beat him easily but it wasn't exciting it wasn't devastating he outpointed him at a distance.

Rigo is mind numbingly dull and I'm not a casual fan, he's painful to watch.
Rigo is a very technically gifted boxer but fans are blowing that win way out of proportion,so yes he is Overrated.

When exactly did Donaire become "shot"?

When I see this kind of statement I think there is confusion between talent and entertainment. There is no question Rigo is immensely talented. The problem is, he is not, for the vast majority of boxing enthusiasts, entertaining.

If you watch boxing solely for the excitement of the unpredictability of hand to hand combat between two warriors, Rigo is probably not your man. If, on the other hand, you watch to see the true science of boxing being displayed, Rigo probably is your man.

I have tremendous respect for his skills but I find his style boring.

Is he overrated? That is in the eye of the beholder.

Skills? Yes. But a fighter needs a good beard. Rigo left his back in the amateurs.

Obviously it had to happen sometime in the two-day period between being awarded his Fighter of the Year award and fighting Rigo.
