He beats Gradovich, winner of Donaire/Vetyetka, Jhonny Gonzalez and Abner Mares.

 

Are they showing donaire vs. Vetyeka on toprank? Or are they leaving it for Hbo tape delay?

If Donaire wins today, Toprank have said they're going to make a unification fight between him and Walters next on HBO later in the year.

Walters vs Donaire will be a sensational fight.

 

The book on Walters was that he was kind of one dimensional and untested at higher levels. But his D was on point, and he didn't appear the least bit fazed given the step up in class and profile.

 

Donaire would get exposed.

 

This is so sad. Vic forever.

 

My only question about Walters was the crudeness/amateurness. The couple clips I saw of him previously, he looked like he needed major work as far as his footwork, and he at times punches amateurishly. I was impressed with his showing today, he looked better than last I saw him. His feet still aren't all the way synced with his hands yet as far as getting in and out, and his timing, but he is definitely improving. He also didn't throw as many amateurish punches than he did in the fight I saw before. I was impressed. He showed a decent chin, calmness under fire, a killer instinct, good body punching, power in both hands. Would like to see them get him in with a top level trainer. He will be trouble for anybody if they are able to get him fully refined.

 

Vetyeka vs Donaire has the makings of a fantastic mouth watering fight.

Possible FOTY too.

Looking forward to this fight just as much as the big one later at Wembley.
