Why is mayweather exempt from ciritism

Too bad Rigo will never be as great as Mayweather. Rigo is pretty good but he will never be in the conversation of the elite that Mayweather lives in.

 

I like Thurman but suspect you may be right. Time will tell. If Lara can beat Mayweather, doesnt that make "King" Carlos Molina the P4P #1, or does that not count because he isnt cuban? lol, I didnt realize I was debating with a Cuban nationalist fan, so there really isnt much to gain here. Good luck watching the sport though and I hope you get the chance to enjoy some great victories in the future. I will say I know and have sparred with Carlos Molina and I hate that decision against Lara and wish Carlos nothing but the best.

 

Floyd's a great fighter no doubt about it but you can't go around saying you're the best when you say things like this;

"If they say these guys were hand picked, they were hand picked to make 40 and 50 and 60 million, then you know what? Keep hand picking them. If they're going to keep paying(public), keep hand picking them".

Referring to his team, "they're supposed to hand pick my opponents. Everything is supposed to go easy for me."

And further "make it easy on me so I can retire feeling healthy and feeling good"

He admits to hand picking and doesn't give a **** about fighting the best because his stupid fans(us) will pay for anything. That's how much respect he has for his fans. I don't have a Problem with a guy making money and wanting it to be easy but then you can't call yourself the best.

I thought you meant speed of footwork and the fluidity that comes with that as well as just being a tiny person. I only watched Rigo fight twice and admit he is very good. Do you really think his footwork is better? Can you compare his footwork to a younger, lighter Floyd? Im not saying you are wrong, I am genuinely asking.

people do this all the time to try and clown the guy ....when he says "health comes first"....hes referencing as to why he wants drug testing.....when he says "im a rich coward" its in reference to people calling him a coward.......yet you guys take it as he is literally scared to death of fighting pac.....

I couldnt disagree more. first, that was a 10 round fight, so throw that excuse out the window. 2nd, if I need my eyes checked, then so does everybody else who isnt Cuban or doesnt have a monetary interest in Lara.
I remember Teddy Atlas saying Lara was having an off night against Molina. Yeah, he sure was. I had many off nights in the gym with Carlos(granted Im a bum as far as pro fighters go). He made me feel like I dint have any idea how to box even though I was more experienced than him at the time. Cintron had an off night also. So did Kirkland, Cory Spinks and Ishe Smith. Its time people realize Carlos is making them have an off night and give him his credit. He is better than Lara because of his superb timing and awkward style. Some day, assuming Carlos doesnt drop the IBF title in the meantime, we'll get to see a rematch and theyll settle it in the ring.:bbb

 

I assume Al Haymon signed Carlos with the intention of "feeding" him to Canelo as soon as possible and get that IBF strap off of him. So assuming Carlos beats the **** out of K9, which he will, I am operating under the assumption that Haymon will match Carlos with Charlo to try to put that belt on him to build up a fight between Charlo and the winner of Canelo/Lara. When/if Molina beats Charlo, I would think he would get the shot at the winner of Lara/Canelo, unless they are just going to refuse to put Carlos in such a high profile fight because his style is not exciting and he will probably win. That would really mess up their operation. My only question here...does anybody know if Lara is a Al Haymon fighter?
