DeGale did seem quite adamant when asked that Hearn has to deliver the Froch fight for him. James seems like a nightmare to manage.

In fairness to degale when he signed Hearn was going on about how he definitely fights the winner, so I would have some sympathy except hearn said a few weeks earlier that if froch won he probably wouldn't have to fight a mandatory so degale should have got something cast iron sorted

No doubt he will go on about how froch ducked him and that he's running scared of team chunky

Easy fight to make, but Froch doesn't need it and certainly a horrible fight for him. Degale is proven over 12, very awkward, very skilled and as shown no signs of a having a bad chin. In fact I would confidently say he say a good chin. Sounds like Froch's worst nightmare...

But Froch isn't running from anyone and no one can call him out again. The only loser is Groves tonight and that not having a pop. I would doubt he will be boxing in 3-4 years time. Only way is down

I have a feeling Froch will retire after tonight. As much as he would like to fight in Vegas What better way to go out 80,000 fans in Wembley Stadium. This could set up Groves v DeGale for the vacant IBF.

Degale-Groves should have had a rematch anyway. This is the time to do it. If Degale wins convincingly he can talk about fighting Froch.

If Froch vacates the IBF strap and fights JCC in Vegas it's feasible that DeGale and Groves would be the two leading contenders for the title. Hold both fights on the same night and you've got a decent PPV right there.

I'm waiting for someone to ask Hearn "What happened to setting up domestic fights?" I like the DeGale fight more than the JCC fight but I doubt it'll happen- Froch at this point likely has one fight left and that fight will be Vegas.
