Bute actually stopped accomplished super middles with single body shots, something Chavez has never come close to doing against anyone of note in that division or the one below. Throwing body shots is not equivalent to throwing meaningful body shots.

 

A prime Andrade had Bute on ***** street and beat if not for a corrupt referee. The Andrade he faced in the rematch years later was a shell of his former self.

 

I don't think JCC can "walk through" Froch's best shots.

The shot that sent Groves down would certainly knock down Chavez.

Keep in mind that he will be moving up in weight which could be a problem.

 

I doubt it. JCC was getting thoroughly outboxed by SM.

Froch can box enough to get a comfortable (but close) decision over Chavez.
