Calzaghe beat Hopkins. Deal with it.

that's not the question asked, this thread has nothing to do with Calzaghe whatsoever

The only controversy in the Hopkins fight was the judge who somehow scored it for Hopkins.

    why would he do that?
surely after Hopkins racist comments, the deck would be stacked against him?

Clearly this thread has an agenda. In any case this is a fantasy question in which people can only offer opinion and speculation. What do you hope to gain from their answers which can essentially only be yes or no?

I don't know why but he obviously wrongfully scored the fight. If that one judge scored it correctly like he should have done, I'm pretty sure that nobody would be bringing this fight up. The fight was in Hopkins' home country so things like that unfortunately happen quite often.

As for Froch, he does have a genuine controversial decision win over Dirrell if I remember well.

but since then Dirrell hasn't done **** to warrant a rematch and Froch has moved on to bigger and better things.

had Froch retired soon after Dirrell, then maybe you could accuse froch of being a ducker

Hard to say. He didnt want to rematch Groves, but would have been stripped, he hasnt rematched Dirrell or Johnson.
I guess if both of those fighters backed out of fighting him or wouldnt fight him previously also, which coincidently they both did with Calzaghe, he may not want to.

What did Reid do after Calzaghe beat him then? Lost his next fight

I didn't accuse Froch of being anything. It's true that Dirrell hasn't done anything since, it's on him of course. It's just that you asked "If Froch had controversial decisions...", well that was a genuine controversial decision, just answering the question, I have nothing against either Froch or Dirrell.

Froch got schooled by a Glass Jaw from Jokeland with one hand. Froch is a step below Calzaghe.
