Froch beat a nobody, end of. Hype job groves hasnt beaten anybody, but was made out to be some big shot lool.

Bout time froch actually beat someone worthy of making him a legend. Getting schooled by an injured ward does not make you a legend.

George has beat DeGale twice who would more than likely beat Froch.

    he is commonwealth champ.

joe calzaghe ran from commonwealth champ.

so if commonwealth champ is a nobody then surely joe calzaghe runs from nobodies.

So, another great thread for proving the Way of Cowardzaghe eh?

I'm already sick of saying it, but it's what he does next that's important in terms of understanding what beating Groves means for his legacy. So although most of the people that make these type of threads struggle desperately with that very thing, people need to calm down and wait and see.

Patience tends not to be a virtue of a man who wants to write of a ranked professional fighter as "a nobody" though.

fighting a nobody just filled out an 80,000 seater stadium, keep telling yourself he's a nobody

How is that smw doing who used to be one of the p4p elite? Can't recall his name? Is he still struggling to fill out canteens in Oakland?

Are you referring to the guy who handed froch a one sided beatdown and a boxing lesson with just one arm?

We have no idea what groves is yet. He has looked very good against the clear second best fighter in the division twice and has the degael wins other than that his resume is thin......probably because he is 26 ****ing years old. He has plenty of time to recover and make a memorable career for himself. What groves does from here on out proves what this fight means

    Groves a nobody?

He's a fighter with bags of talent + potential, got himself into the mandatory position for Froch when he could have took an easier route... gave two good accounts of himself and will come again, future world champion.

He isnt a nobody.. But it was too soon for him him to fight Froch. He is a good boxer and packs a punch but he just doesnt have that experience that was needed to get through Froch, plus moving away from Booth was a BAD mistake. This new guy is a yes man and is not fit to be his trainer.
I dont know why people are obsessed with 0 losses on someone record, that **** never ceases to amaze me. Thats why they were talking so highly of him.
I wonder how will he recover from this.
