Not even close Froch being overrated once again, beats Groves who never beat a top 10 fighter and now he would have beaten Calzaghe. Froch was schooled by Ward that tells you all you need to know about how Froch vs Calzaghe would go.

I see the calzaghe fans have to use the word 'would' could should etc.

but never the word 'do' and did.

Such is the way of Cowardzaghe.

    Calzaghe

Outside of punching power Froch holds nothing over Calzaghe. It's not like Froch could wear him down late as Calzaghe has the better gas tank and was/is just as durable.

Calzaghe UD 117-111 something in that range.

Based on what? Beating a past prime Kessler and Froch, Has Ward a win on his record as good as Bhop or the Kessler Joe beat. GTFO Calzaghe as of now is ahead of Ward although i do think Andre could catch up if he gets his **** together.

Based on what I can see and understand with my own eyes, not boxrec logic. His speed, his timing, his balance, his footwork, his punch variety, his inside ability, his distance control, his defence, the way he sets traps with feints and movement etc. If you think Calzaghe is better than Ward then you don't understand what it is you are looking at when you watch a fighter at work.

I remember telling people that Ward would outclass Kessler and people who don't understand boxing told me I was talking rubbish, who had Ward beat, Kessler must be great because he gave Calzaghe a tough fight and Kessler was going to walk through Ward and KO him:lol:

ward passed calzaghe at 168 as soon as he won the super six. joe's wins over lacy and kessler don't top that.

TBE @ supermiddle, the Cal-Vinci code is too complete and unsolvable for a caveman like Froch. 11-1 UD Joe.
    No blueprint.

joe is way too fast and coordinated, he also has the intangibles to go with the athletic gifts, like chin and heart - overall he is bad news for froch.

His best win in the super 6 was Kessler who Calzaghe beat without headbutting.

    Ok, Calzaghe DID own Hopkins.
Calzaghe DiD unify the division. (Froch never came close)
Calzaghe DiD win the Light Heavyweight championship.

Calzaghe Did retire perfect. ( Something Froch never will be able to do)

    There you go.:good

Froch wasn't any sort of name back then, hadn't won a world title. Calzaghe was nearing the end and had MUCH bigger pay days available.

That said, stick them together both at there best and Calzaghe all night long for me.
