Froch lost to Kessler, who he beat in the rematch. Then lost to Ward, who is P4P #2

I'm not a Ward hater, but in my opinion Froch doesn't need the rematch with Ward (He lost the first time, would probably lose again, no shame in there) or a "mega-fight" in Vegas with Chavez Jr. or Golovkin. No venue in America is gonna top 80,000 in Wembley stadium plus. When Ward disappeared after his S6 win, the Cobra stepped in and now is the money man in the division. Bute, Abraham, Kessler, Johnson, Pascal, Taylor, Groves twice, Dirrell are W's enough to secure his place in HOF.

I think he should retire now, we've already seen him beat Kessler, he will blast Chavez Jr and the fight against Golovkin really depends of how much Froch has in his tank, GGG is a machine but put him in with Froch will be 2-3 steps above of what he have faced so far in his career + Will Golovkins power fade when he moves up a weight class, just like with Abraham? Retire on top Cobra :deal

he doesn't want a fight with ward....

he wants a 'big' vegas fight aka. ppv

chavez jr. the only ppv star in and around that weight....

    ward is not ppv....

jr has the best chin in boxing..... aint nobody 'blasting' him....

jr would be the quicker fighter for once.... it would be a real war of attrition, i think froch would probably win....

and then he could setup a domestic unification with james degale who by that time should be WBC champ after beating bika.

As a fan of both Ward and Froch I must admit that Froch doesn't need to fight Ward again and it's Ward's problem. Ward's promotion and management is so bad that he could be ignored(even by guys he already beat) and no fan will care or notice.

There's a nice interview with Erik Morales somewhere where he says that a fighter spends all these years working so hard and making almost nothing. Then finally when he gets to the point where he's making really good money, people tell him he should retire. He's like, "tell me, if you were finally making good money after working so hard all those years, would you retire?"

Froch sucks. Boring ass fighter. Who the **** is groves? You Brits rank your fighters amongst yourselves but they don't cut it with boxers from the rest of the world.

LOL. GGG would retire Froch's boring ass. Gennady will do Froch the same way Pacquiao did to Hatton.

i agree that froch doesn't need vegas. when you can draw 80,000 to a fight. you get noticed world wide.

He doesn't need a Vegas fight but it is something that he wants to experience. The fact that other British fighters like Lewis, Calzaghe, Hatton, Hamed and Khan have all fought there might have something to do with it.

I dont think its about legacy, I think its about getting paid massive amounts of money fighting on HBO PPV as well as Sky Box Office.

Froch now making close to PAC money and has at least two opponents left where he could generate that money. Chavez and GGG. Two more fights and he can retire almost 40m USD wealthier.

Yeah, fighting in Vegas is probably a really symbolic thing for a top champion. Another notch in the experience belt and also a pretty decent payday too.

Froch deserves a fight against GGG or JCCjr. He could probably beat them both too. Go out with an OK win and accept that Ward has his number.

If he decided for a Ward rematch, credit to him, I just don't see him winning, or making as much money as against more exciting matchups.

Agree he doesn't need to fight Ward again. Same outcome really. There's nothing wrong with being second.

He should fight Chavez, JR brings in more money than GGG, JR is a ppv in America GGG isn't. JR is also a much easier fight Froch beats the **** out of Chavez he could beat GGG but it would be a hard fight and should he loose would hamper his legacy. I mean loosing to a MW would be pretty damaging for him fight Chavez easy win in Vegas and then retire or maybe fight Degale if he holds a belt in Nottingham.
