It actually kicked of when I asserted that Lennox Lewis's black Jamaican background prohibits him from being considered a Brit, but your question is a conundrum indeed.

It think Groves is more talented than Froch, but hasn't been able to better utilize his talents like Froch has.

 

Well, Lennox Lewis won a gold medal for Canada, so his Britishness will always be questioned. Then again he was born in London and lived there until he was 12.

I thought you might be able to answer my question, because you mentioned Anglo-Saxons and Celts as if they exist, or are easy to identify.
What if most WHITE "British" people turn out to be 'impure' under your Anglo-Saxon-Celt standard ?

It's the same in most European countries.
Most European countries have developed out of lots of different tribes mixing. And then 'outsiders', for example Jews, have mixed within every European nation, (even Hitler admitted this. ) .. and Gypsys, etc.
Arabs, Moors .... they all mixed with the Celt and Germanic tribes, A LONG TIME AGO .... so all these "white pride" and "white nationalist" stuff is a crock of **** ..... many of the 'PROUD WHITES' are Jews and Gypsys and they don't even know it ! many of them probably have a black man or an indian in their family line.

Well, to put this 'race theory' stuff in perspective:

As far as I know, the scientific community still says we are all descended from apes .... and actually from strange prehistoric mammals ..... and fish before that .... back to simple cell organisms.

It seems a bit silly to argue about 'pure races' when we are all cousins descended from pond slime. :rofl

 

Wouldn't you agree that some races have certain attributes that should be preserved?

Aren't you well aware that any scientist in the scientific community would have their career ended if they did research into the topic of race, and came to a conclusion that deviates away from mainstream political correctness? Even you must acknowledge that whites are unjustly treated in this 'progressive' society of political correctness.

 

If the question I have ignored was, "how many brits are pure from both sides?" than I really don't know.

But I don't think it's appropriate to consider someone from a completely different continent, and different RACIAL background to be considered a European nationality.

Being a born Euro myself, that's my stance and I'm unwilling to compromise that standing.

Let's keep in mind that while Froch has a good resume, he has never been the man in his division. For his entire career, he has been second to Calzaghe and Ward. That has to hurt him a little.

Also, in a head-to-head sense, Eubank, Benn, Collins, Watson, and Calzaghe would destroy him. So would Fitzsimmons, and am I the only one who thinks that would be one of the most fun fights ever??

 

I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. I'm not sure. I'm always compelled to conjure the 'one drop rule' in cases like these.
