You don't find anything exceptional about a close to 50 year old beating up men 20 years younger.

You don't think there is something special about a man whose been fighting at a championship level for almost 20 years.

Name another current athlete doing what Hopkins is doing.

    whatever man you a hater.:hi:

It has been 10 years since Hopkins has stopped anyone. Bernard has never been anything special, never. He has always been one of the most boring fighters in the fight game. Always looking to get in a cheap shot to the hip or thigh when the ref was on the opposite side. Always feigning injury. Etc. etc.

Never been much on ballet but at least I don't have a pin up of Bernard Hopkins in my bedroom. Sweet dreams.

Both guys beat him . Joe would have stopped him if he hadn't of been rolling on the floor like a ***** . Hop did **** in that fight and I seriously don't get the insane remarks from people who thought he won . he fought to survive and that's it:deal

I agree with you that we can't go nuts about Groves yet. He's still unproven. His only claim to fame is his performance in the first Froch fight.

But Kessler was a reigning champ when Froch beat him, and yet lost in years. He's younger than Froch so I don't wanna hear that he's too old.

All in all Froch has an outstanding resume. One of the best of active fighters in the sport.

The comparison should be made between Calzaghe and Ward. Calzaghe is obviously better than Froch.

Calzaghe and Ward have two common opponents: Kessler and Bika.

Calzaghe beat Kessler at his own game, standing toe to toe and really being the ring "general". Ward beat Kessler by running around scared and coming in with his head every 30 seconds.

Calzaghe beat Bika in a war of attrition, a competitive fight that Calzaghe won clearly. Ward fought a shopworn version of Bika and also had a war, but it was much closer than Calzaghe's. It was almost a draw, in fact.

Ward has a win over Froch, but Calzaghe's win over Hopkins is at least as good (Hopkins is still the top dog at LHW).

Ward has a win over a weight-drained Dawson, but Calzaghe's win over a 31-year-old Chris Eubank is clearly better.

Those are the most important wins they have.

I guess Lucien Bute is better than both Calzaghe and Ward since he beat Bika than both.

I see the agenda in you post. Insinuating that Bika magically became magically shopworn from Calzaghe slaps.

Also like the way you big up Joe's victory over Eubank while at the same time undermining Wards victory over Dawson.
    :rofl

10 years of feasting on bums is not made up for by fighting two fighters.

Hopkins refused to fight Kovalev, so did Ward. However, Hopkins will fight Stevenson at 175, Ward won't fight Stevenson at 168. Ward is a spoiled brat, he will only fight in his home town with his own personal referee, judges, boxing commission, etc., if Ward wants a fight so badly, then he should go ahead and fight Stevenson..............

why should anyone, nevermind haters, deal with your opinion. you are entitled to it.

if you have a problem with opinions then you shouldn't try to force othersto bend to yours.

Dirrell is an amazing fighter. He has a potential to be one of the best boxers, clearly among the most talented boxers. I thought that he fought beautifully most of the fight against Froch (although some would call him a runner). He schooled and outclassed Froch but unfortunately we were forced to see the dark side of the sport once again and Dirrell had to experience a robbery.

With that said, it makes me wonder where is Dirrell now? Is he going to fight soon, any plans and such?
