Cotto-Martinez 24/7 Episode 1

They make the line close so you think the underdog, cotto, has a chance. That way people drop large on a slight underdog who pays out better. When, in actuality, he has no chance in hell. I don't know if that's the case here, but, nfl lines look like this often, and then it's a blowout. As much as the betting line is an "objective" analysis, they want us to lose to their employers and goading us into something like this is one of the best ways to do it.

 

Wow, I couldn't find any video of Sergio doing any serious leg movements. Only a short video of him riding the stationary bike and getting on some balancing machine with some heavy bag work. Is there not one video of him testing his mobility? The 24/7 even said he was on a crutch for 7 months so I have serious questions about his knee. They showed him on a stationary bike several times. As if he's still trying to work his way back and not getting ready for a fight. His mobility will be a huge factor cause if he is seriously limited, Cotto might have a chance.

 

I don't think Sergio would be fighting if he was immobile. I think they're trying to make the matchup look competitive. Hope I'm wrong and he really is a gimp so cotto can run him over.

 

Yeah but in any big fight like this, there is video of a fighter doing some boxing work. The only "boxing" I could find was some heavy bag work. He wasn't even jump roping for crying out loud and every fighter does that. It's weird. I think Sergio might have serious issues with his knee.

 

Just watched it, agreed, it's weird. They show Miguel underwater etc. and half show Sergio on a bike.

 

The odds have been open for quite a while.

If they were off, the market would have corrected it by now.

He rarely ever ran, even when his knee was 100%

 

Martinez camp playing mind games and it's working, because lots of people are rooting for Cotto. Cotto isn't stopping Martinez and he damn sure won't outwork him and the longer the fight goes it favors Martinez.

Cotto gassed halfway through the fight against Mayweather+Trout and just imagine how gassed he will be in the second half with extra weight against a bigger guy who has knockouts in later rounds.

 

If I remember correctly didn't Martinez gas in the later rounds and dropped against both chance Jr. And Murray?

And that was when he was literally falling apart physically. Broken hand, shoulder injury, knee that needed reconstruction....

If his words are to be believed, his injuries are healed, meaning that its going to be a hard painful night for Cotto

 

Nobody makes bets a week before a fight, theres way too many factors. The line will change closer to the fight.
