When Froch was Wards age, he was basically fighting on the British equivalent of Friday Night Fights.

Good promoters getting the right fights, with the right hype makes all the difference.

Khan has had a career of big fights and hes only 27. Khans was pushed in a big way from his very first fight.

Froch was fighting on free to air Saturday evening fights in town halls up until his 30s.

Then Hearn got involved.

 

He certainly hasnt been involved that long.

Just the part where Froch became a big star in his home cvountry and became known in boxing circles around the world.

The bit where he was fighting in Nottingham in front of a few thousand people....thats Hennessys part. And where he fought for a world title and couldnt even get on British TV.

He was headlining cards in America on major networks when he was 23!

Froch was barely known outside of Nottingham until he was in his 30s due to Micks magnificent promotional skills!
