So.....who should Froch fight in his farewell fight, which IMO, should be his next fight.

Bhop easy fight for Froch as Bernard not a punching threat great name to finish on and Froch deserves it.

So difficult to pick if there's only one more fight. Would love to say ward but I can't see froch ever winning that so seems like a waste of a fight if he only has one more when he could get another good legacy enhancing win.

At a push id say Stevenson just for the lineal title and name. Ideally I'd love to see him against degale and GGG aswell.

Carl's been in too many wars to go out on his @ss vs Golovkin.

I chose Bika b/c it would make him undisputed. Have it in the UK as a farewell fight for the legend and it'd sell.

Carl doesnt need a cash out fight....he rich beyond his dreams, and his wife makes a good living as well.

He doesn't need Ward.....styles make fights, and Ward has been very wise ducking the style that would beat him.....a style the Cobra demolished in 5 rds.:deal:deal:deal

    Ward

The only time he got schooled

Ward even pushed him around like a toy

Unless he is mentally beaten he will try one last time

Ward isnt a draw but he is easily the best at 168

Yeah bika has a name, sounds good on a resume just don't know whether it's big enough for his farewell fight, I think even the degale fight would do better in England.

Yeah I agree he doesn't need ward, would look amazing on the cv though.
Whatever he does it's bound to be another great fight :happy

DeGale would likely be a far bigger fight, especially in the UK, where DeGale also has a pretty sound fan base....

But....Froch can sell fights.....he's all action, and I don't think he needs that name value to make a big fight. Bika is willing, and would obviously not fight over purse split.....

Legacywise......having that WBC title, along with the IBF and WBA ........he's undisputed and arguably the best SMW of this era.

Side note: Yes Ward beats him 70% of the time......but it's cuz Carls style is tailor made for him. That said, Lucian Bute would have smoked Ward had Ward not blatantly ducked him.....it's all about to come out....and Froch took Bute's soul......Bute<<<<<Ward<<<<Froch<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Bute.:think

Yeah . The first fight could have went either way .

I don't know who Frochs fights next

Ward rematch isn't happening , Wards sees that as been there , whupped that .

    Maybe Chavez Jr ?

    Voted Chavez.

Get's to do the Vegas thing like he wants to.
    Would be a big event.
Would be a fan friendly fight to remember.
Would have a good chance of winning.
    Would be a good payday.

If I was him I wouldn't bother with the other fights listed in the poll. If he can't get the Chavez fight he should retire.

Watch round 4 of froch vs ward and tell me. He wants ward?

That round is possibly some of the finest inside work you'll see

Froch is getting walked down ! Lol

    Gets stunned time after time

Ward even trades in the centre of the ring

You could argue its a 10-8 round but all 4 first rounds could be 10-8 it was so one sided

Doesn't Ward still hold the WBA?

    Froch wouldn't be undisputed.

I hope he'd fight GGG...just to see where they both are in relation to each other...

I find that fight much more compelling than any rematches...

I also think Froch stands a good chance against Stevenson...particularly after Adonis' previous effort...

each of the fights has legacy implications.

While Bute has not looked world class, beating him at 175 would increase his legacy with a win over a top 10 LHW, and would have the financial benefits as Bute is a huge draw in Montreal and Showtime still owes Bute a $2 mil fight on their network.

So Bute could sweeten the pot by splitting the TV money.:think
