Jr has such mighty power that he couldn't stop, no, not even drop middleweight Vera who he dragged up to 168? and you think he breaks down and stops Froch :rofl

I hope Froch goes to LV and fights Jr. He deserves a large payday under the lights. It would be a very interesting fight.

Comparing the Andy Lees and Brian Vera's to the level Froch has fought at is laughable.

Froch annihilates Chavez Jnr mid rounds stoppage, can you seriously imagine a Brian Vera and Chavez jnr hanging with Froch for 12 rounds ?.

He's not getting overrated in this matchup.

Had it for Kessler first time and Froch narrowly on the second

Regardless i agree over all that Kessler shouldnt fight Froch again, at least not immediately

Froch VS Chavez Jr - WBA/IBF Supermiddleweight title
Kessler VS Bika - WBC Supermiddleweight title

If Kessler is going to pick up a belt it wont be against Abraham/Ward to use as leverage seeing as Ward is inactive due to promotional issues and Abraham is under the Saurland banner also

Either luring Bika to Germany to fight (which wouldnt be the first time as seen with Marcus Beyer) or going over to fight him in the US would give Kessler enough leverage to get a rubbermatch if he wins and how.

Meanwhile you will have George Groves take on Abraham in a fight Saurland can either cut their losses with the brit or reignite his career by fighting an all be it fading champion for the WBO strap.

Kessler has long lost his interest in boxing. Chavez will at least have the motivation, and he's young. It's a no-brainer.

Kessler would happily take the payday, but the fight would be a one-sided UD win for Froch.

Carl is eying the end of his career now and his pension fund

With the chin that Chavez Jr has....he isn't going to get knocked out.

He'll also have a favourable referee in Vegas too.

LOL some serious Chavez hyping here. Chavez couldn't even beat Vera the first time and the second only narrowly eeked past. This is a middleweight we're talking about being dragged upto SMW and we are somehow to derive from these lackluster performances that Chavez is some kind of demolition machine that will tear shreds through any SMW not named Ward?

LOL ESB you are too much.

The delusion is strong with some of you guys.

The version of Martinez that fought a Chavez (that came in way heavier than Froch ever does) would get stopped 10/10 times against current Froch. Way too tough, big, smart and iron chinned. Sergio would get walked down.
As for Chavez, he really has nothing going for him in this match up. Even Kessler would TOTALLY school him at 168 at this point. Remember he has been bullying C-level fighters at MW that he has +10lbs on. Only thing that is even "good" about him at top level is probably the chin, but even that hasn't really been tested by any quality guy with power at his own size.
Froch would batter him 10 times out of 10. What does he have to bother Froch?
He has earned this showcase fight.:good

Kessler clearly won the first fight, while the second fight was much closer, although Froch deserved to win.

However, I think that Froch would comfortably win if they were to fight for the third time, because Kessler has been having problems with stamina for the past couple of years, plus he didn't fight for a long time and I don't believe that he has the same motivation he once had. On the top of that, even in the first fight Kessler was past his best, not to mention the second one. Imagine how much over the hill he is now.

Hopefully Kessler will fight Abraham in one last big fight in Denmark or Germany, then retire as a champion. If he fights Froch, I hope that it happens in Denmark.
