Yeah i read about it. Gets dropped by Sturm but thinks he can defeat GGG. I dont know, he must be drinking the same go go juice Geale is drinking, got alot of confidence both of them but it takes more than confidence to defeat someone like GGG.
They are quite entitled to feel confident in themselves at the moment. Soliman has just realised his lifelong dream and won a world title at 40. Geale has already won two world titles and is aiming at a third. Good on them both :good
I don't believe that is solimans life long dream, i believe he turned his back on kickboxing because there wasn't much profit involved, he turned to boxing and has been exploiting the sport and its ratings for as much profit as he can gather. Thats just my opinion. Geale on the other hand has done what no one else has done before by winning two titles back to back in Germany, lost respect from me personally when he decided to drop a title and not fight GGG and fight Mundine instead. If he was so confident and is really the only man who can defeat GGG then he pretty much screwed himself out of a mega multi million dollar fight against Martinez for an undisputed unification that would have made the money he earned against Mundine look like pocket change.
Soliman just won a boxing world title. Something he has always said was his dream and you could see what it meant to him after he beat Sturm and raised the belt. And how can you turn on Geale for not fighting Golovkin when he has gone out and pursued him as is now fighting him on July 26th? You arguments make no sense
ATM. WBA is still in discussion with teams GGG, Fletcher, Geale & Dmitry Chudinov (w/e interim titilst) All have lodged their respective proposed agreements....If WBA fails to observe them...litigation will no doubt be forthcoming. Hence the reason whether GGG vs Geale is on or not is taking time.
Ive always wanted to fly to the moon, so yeah im gonna be happy if that happens one day. Not to mention the millions ill make being the first civilian to walk on the moon :good Soliman has always exploited the sport, money was the most important thing to him, not winning a title. Geale sold out, he could have unified the division and cemented his legacy in boxing, but instead he sold out. Just because he is now fighting GGG doesnt erase that. Infact if he is demolished by GGG it will prove a point many had made as to why he wouldn't fight GGG and chose to fight Mundine instead even if it costed him a belt he had just won.
Soliman is world champion at 40 and he'll make money too. Can't understand your hate for the guy? Geale is about to fight the guy nobody else wants to fight Golovkin. What more can anyone ask from the guy? He's about to fight the most dangerous guy out there.
Could ask that he be a bit more exciting in the ring, its a sport of entertainment after all Big Fella
From a fans point of view yes, from a boxers point no, if you haven't realised, standing toe to toe doesn't make for a long career, I find mayweather boring but enjoy his evasive skills and counter punching, whatever skillset your born with, all you can do is utilise it to your best ability
