Sergio wont be allowed to wear knee brace for Cotto match

I was going into this fight pretty neutral, being a big fan of both but wow Cotto's making it hard for me to not want to see him get spanked in there...War Martinez

 

Won't be a problem. Martinez can go toe to toe with Cotto. Martinez is the hardest puncher Cotto has ever faced. Martinez has been in with some big guys and has a decent chin.

I don't see what everyone is crying about. So they both have to stand on their own two knees, seems fair to me. It's not like anyone is asking for some unfair advantage.

 

Martinez claims that his knee is 100% healthy-so whats the big deal?It's not like Cotto is going to hit the Prima Donna on his knee ffs.

Hmmm, the power thing is a pretty good point. Can't it be said though that Cotto has faster hands than Pavlik/Chavez, so he may be able to hit Sergio cleaner and more often? Is Cottos left hook to the body a potential factor here?

Many times Martinez leaned into Jr. without much lateral movement and Jr. pretty much just kissed him. He didn't start throwing until the Championship rounds and with great effect!

I do not see Cotto getting mesmerized by Martinez's movement....he will get disrupted with stiff jabs, pressed with right crosses and pounded with left hooks to the body.

Expect to see Cotto sit down on his body shots of which he has not done the past few years.

In regards to the knee brace.....Martinez has been saying all along he is 100% so what is with the ploy / prop coming in with a brace!!!
