I sense that Froch is get vastly overrated now that he's proven himself better than George Groves, an inexperienced fighter who has never beat a seasoned legit contender.

Groves is possibly on the level of a Henry Wharton over all, but not as durable.

Froch's accomplishments in his career deserve to be recognized but he's not in the top echelon of British greats.

I'd put him in top 5 of British super-middles, no higher than #3.

Froch has beat hardest opponents in British history, must be right up there. If only it was the old days he fought in were it was 15 rounds and weighing in morning of fight, he would be unbeaten

of course he is, he's just not the best among them, nowhere near, but defo among them.

as someone else said there are loads really, loads. this country has produced some fantastic fighters at every weight and most people today don't know about them or have never heard of them.

here's just two examples, little Eric Boon & Alex Lafferty, further back Joe Bowker, None Tougher.

    It's always the same.

We have a great in our midst, in our era. Right here, right now.

A great athlete, fighter, and winner. Like or loathe him, that's what he is.

But people won't appreciate Froch until after the event.

In the meantime they look back at greats gone by.

Nothing wrong with nostalgia, but we have a great in our midst FFS!

    Enjoy it! :good

Fighters are always better remembered and appreciated more after they have retired im talking 10 20 years down the line. The greats are great because we remember there greatest moments.

Froch is most definatly amongst them no doubt about it!! Hes like a real life rocky hes rugged raw but he has something deep inside that never says die. He finds away to pull it out the bag. And he will be celebrated in boxing more in the future than he is today for some strange reason some people are just struggling to accept how good he is
