If David Haye is healed, he still has the tools to be Wlad.

He just didn't utilize them last time.

His gameplan last time was to counter Wlad, but Haye underestimated his footwork.

Many of us, who predicted Haye would win, predicated based off his footwork and elusiveness.

Haye was plenty elusive, but he was unable to get into position to counter Wlad.

This time, he has to fight similiar to how he fought Chisora. He has to fight Wlad in the pocket, duck, roll, and counter his shots.

The problem is, Wlad doesn't fight in the pocket, he lays on his opponent and holds, but Haye has to respond with the uppercut. He is always in position to land a devestating uppercut, but he didn't pull the trigger.

If he can keep Wlad from leaning on him, he can coarce Wlad to fighting on the inside and potentetially take him out.

He has to do this by finding his way inside, (which admittedly is incredibly dangerous and difficult, but can be done with the jab or double jab), and then throw the right hook to the body, which will set up a right to the head, then step back and fire the uppercut.

    Haye does have the athleticism.

It's just a very hard thing to do.

    Anyway...

I've always been a fan and I made that famous thread about Wlad crawling on his hands and knees against Haye...which unfortunately never materialized in the fight.

I just want to let Haye know, his fan base hasn't left.

He can never be Wlad, and he will never be Wlad.

He still is a tool though.

The guy has no balls and was scared shitless of wlad. I'm not even a wlad fan and frequently enjoy watching corrie sanders run him over, but, haye has no shot to be great and, now, only one arm.

"People say I should've been more aggressive in the later rounds, but you have to understand that this is one of the hardest punchers in heavyweight history and I couldve gotten KNOCKED OUT."- David Haye on Brittish TV in the week after the match

Hes a hard puncher!?! Didnt he know that going in? He talked all big and just fought all defensibly. The guy is all talk. Just cant take him seriously at all anymore.

If having all the tools to win includes "Balls", I say no, he doesnt have all the tools to win.

He did nothing of note in the heavyweight division last time, now he's got extra years and injuries added on, what makes you think he'll do a damn thing now?

I thought Haye would win due to his ability to jump in with combinations and counter here and there. That obviously wasn't the plan, his plan was to go in there and make sure he survives the full 12 without risking getting tired(throwing punches).

One arm, 9 toes and no balls. He has barely a better chance of beating Wlad than Paul Williams does.

Was that over the line? I really like Paul, no disrespect

Haye landed on Wlad more than anyone in recent history to be honest. Especially in the early going .

I know, right? Haye doesnt want to fight Wlad anymore than Tyson wanted to fight Foreman in 1990-1992 when King tried to make that fight.

shame David has a fragile body and glass heart, because he has a rare natural power slickness and quickness that many would kill for

I agree. If you put a mentally hard man in that body (Holyfield, Bradly, Margarito, ect...) you just might have an atg. At least a very serious contender anyway.

He got his ass beat worse then Froch did against SOG. WHY are people still talking about this dude in 2014?
We have plenty of up and coming HW that would crush Haye, much less Wlad toying with him again.
