Cotto-Martinez PPV Predictions

I have a feeling that this fight is going to draw more buys than people think. I'm going to say this fight out sells Marquez-Bradley and Canelo-Angulo, and gets around 400,000 buys. Thoughts?

 

Cotto vs Margarito 2 had 450K PPV buys.

I know the Puerto Ricans will rally behind Cotto and that should boost his numbers. Martinez also did very well with Chavez Jr, at 475K, but that's mostly due to Chavez Jr's drawing power.

I think 400-425K sounds about the right estimate for this fight. It could go up as high as 475k.

 

Probably 500 000 at most. Definitely over 400 000.

We pay because we're boxing fans and like to support the fighters.

 

It's a dumb financial decision. There is no justification.
