Those terms are crazy, but there will reach a point where Ward has to give more leeway in negotiations to make fights.

It sucks, but that's the way it goes sometimes since boxing purses aren't purely based on merit. There's a risk component that your opponent calculates into their asking price, and Ward's opponents want a big one. It happens. For example, GGG's been fighting below his market value for years because the only way to get decent guys in the ring was to give them career high paydays.

There is no way that the best super middleweight and the ring champ is going to give a guy he beat the lion's share ..What I do agree with is he should travel ..I saw no issues with the ref in the Groves fight so why not make those concessions ? It would be beneficial to Ward to do that imo

If Froch is bringing 90% of the money he would find it hard to give Ward half of it. Make no mistake, Froch thinks he had a bad night first time and could beat Ward (who may never recover his pre-injury form remember) next time. Deluded or not!

He shouldn't have to give up the lion's share and travel, but it will reach a point where he has to offer more even terms or travel at this rate. Going to England and beating Froch again regains all the lost momentum of his career in a single fight.

Unfortunately, he's not going to get good terms to do that because of the risk involved for Hearn. On the bright side, getting paid in pounds will benefit him on the exchange side when he converts them to dollars, but I just don't see the two sides making a deal that works for both.

If he believes he had an off night he should be itching to fight him again.

Most "Warriors" dont like retiring without even trying to be #1 in their division or avenging a loss

Froch doesnt want the fight, because he doesnt want to lose in his retirement fight in front of his fans.

    That simple

Absolutely it's more lucrative for Ward to travel ..But that's up to him,Hearns will keep Froch as far away from Ward until there is no other option left

Its obvious Froch does not want to fight Ward and just as obvious Ward does not want to fight Froch. Imagine you are a boxer and u see someone u have already beaten easily is now a major star and draw that would make you millions if you fought him in his home country. Most boxers would be on the TV/Phone/Twitter ect calling Froch out and trying to get the easy payday made. Even Wards greedy promotional team must look at it and think wow this is an easy payday.
Yet none of this has happened and that tells a story in itself.

Ward has said repeatedly and on British TV at that, that he has no issue going to Britain to fight if the moneys right.

Froch team has never even tried to amke a fight with Ward.

Ward cant make the fight on his own.

Again Ward is still the man to beat Froch is in no position to dictate to Ward no matter what he brings ..Froch is looking to avenge the loss not Ward..But with that said I give Froch a shot to beat him not a not a big shot but with his determination you never know ..

I havent even seen Ward mention fighting Froch since the Kessler 2 fight. And anyone saying Froch needs Ward more than Ward need Froch really seem to be wearing blinkers. At this moment Froch is heading to big paydays, lots of love from fans worldwide, a name that rightly or wrongly will be spoken about for many years to come despite a limited skill set. Ward on the other hand is headed to obscurity with no big pay days, very few fans cheering his name and a legacy that will be forgotten within the space of 10 years max, despite being by far the best at 168 atm. Those of you trying to defend Ward and say Froch should chase him, make conssessions ect , you are not helping Ward really, you are just cheering him on as he sinks from sight. If you are a true fan then you should be urging him to fight any big names ASAP no matter the circumstances, just to keep his name alive and to keep him relevant to the world of boxing

So you thiink its OK, for Froch to not try to avenge his loss and be considered the best in his division?
Its fine, its a good biz decision, just dont go saying its Ward who is stopping the fight happeneing.

Ward has said, that all frochs team need to do is pick up the phone and start negotiations. How clear can you be?

    Ward cant make Froch fight.

Meaningful losses sure, I wouldnt mind seeing him step in against Peterson and Garcia aagin. Id love to see those fights.

If Im not mistaken he was scheduled to fight Peterson in a rematch and it was cancelled and he tried to get a rematch against Garcia, which Garcia turned down

    Whats your point?

no loss khan could avenge would come close to what froch beating ward (however unlikely) would mean
