Because people are tuning in to see Froch, not Ward. He's the one bringing in the money.

It's irrelevant that Ward beat him when talking split. It would be Wards biggest ever pay day.

No Froch does not need to avenge his loss because as i said many years from now people will not even remember who Ward really was and then will rewrite history and claim Froch would have won in a rematch anyway. Froch does not need ward but Ward needs Froch simply due to the way their careers have gone. Lets me completely honest if it wasn't for Froch threads we would barely even be talking about Ward at all. That's the crux of this, Ward is becoming just a chapter in Frochs career. The only threads his name appears in are Frochs threads. As world champion and P4P #2 he should be the one with the Ward vs everyone threads or the if Ward did this or ward did that threads.

 

Its this simple.
Froch has maybe a couple of fights left.

A loss to Ward would finish his career, and in front of his home fans, for less money than he can get for fighting a relatively easy fight against Chavez in Vegas.

Thats it, and that is all.

If Froch doesnt want to fight Ward, thats fine, thats his business decision.

But can we all stop pretending this has ANYTHING to do with Ward not wanting to travel.

ward may be shooting himself in the foot while he fights with contractual disputes instead of opponents, but ward is hardly going to be remembered only as a chapter in froch's career...and history won't be rewritten and award froch a mythical win in a rematch
some people are trying so hard to discredit ward because of his inactivity, and its because of his dominance in the super six

This is impossible lol, one day you will turn around and realize the person you are defending has faded away to nothing. Froch would fight Ward for sure if Ward pushed for it because Froch is not clever enough to accept he cant win. He is also not the type to avoid people. He is the type tho to truly believe he is king and deserves the dictate how things go. That's an unfortunate side effect of his champions mentality. You want to believe Froch is avoiding Ward because it helps you to justify or maybe just rationalise Wards descent into obscurity.
