Recently, I've been questioning Floyd's leadership.

    And absolutely but is being overweight the same as being a race that has history of slavery, degradation, ****, torture, and segregation?

    Can people lose weight?

    Can people not be black?

    The school itself would be a community, the black kids would be a smaller community. You could call it a club or a fraternity, but those are types of communities. Kind of like a church is a sub-community within a small town.

    Basically I'm saying you can't identify with all the black people in America because they are the same color as you. You might think you can, but that's a connection you make in your own mind. Race isn't a basis for community (usually).

    Another one would be fundamentalist Christians. They think the same things, they do the same things once a week, they're subject to the same stereotypes, but they aren't a community because they only interact on local levels for the most part, and they have no defined leadership.

    EDIT: And they completely fit the bill of "history of degradation, ****, torture, slavery, and segregation"

    Even that has more grounds for being called a community than a race of people.

    Take some history classes while you're at it. There isn't a single race that doesn't have that history. And it still doesn't make millions of people a community.

    Edit: There are so many things that I want to say, but I can't. I know I can't.

    I'm tired anyway. The point is Floyd is not your leader so don't feel let down by him. He's actually kind of an idiot.

    Stop arguing with the 19 year old ****** modernpanzie who thinks the world revolves around him and how no one understands "his struggle". It's part of his teenage angst days.

    Just take a step back man. Relax. You will enjoy life more without the uptight attitude.

    @Modernfonzie

    I hear ya, but in many cases it's about class (as in financial status) as opposed to race. Money and status divide people much more than race. I do agree with you in terms of Mayweather being more responsible towards the black community, but we should be careful not to put people on soap boxes just because they have a certain status. Mayweather is a champion boxer, but be careful not to cast him as a champion of all causes, because for that matter, no one is.
