If Lennox is so amazing as you've portrayed, please explain why Lennox repeatedly admitted he didnt want to retire until he cemented his legacy by beating Mike Tyson.

Surely if Lennox was so great, he wouldnt need a guy like Tyson, the one you so wonderfully described above?

"lost all his fights to his closest rivals"___who lewis? when he was past his prime? holyfield? by then mike's head movement looked sloppy, he was less focused, and didn't train as often.his personal life drugs & alcohol didn't help.holy was a regimented,sober,focused warrior who had a style and maintained it.mike was more blessed with talent but burnt out sooner body and mind.hardly close to his best.look at the trouble holyfield had with the slower(maybe lighter punching) bert cooper.by the time mike fought mcbride body and mind GONE!

 

Slapping Tyson on the hand for not making it to the olympics is laughable. He was about 17 years old fighting fighting guys who were like 23.

The reason why I used Tucker, Tillis, Bone-crusher, and Green is because they have similar attributes to Lewis, even though not as big. They all stood around 6ft 4 and used their height and size to nullify Tyson's attack, some better than others. That's not using it as a negative for Tyson, just stating the facts that the few times Tyson went the distance it was against the bigger heavyweights which makes me think that Lewis would have also survived the early onslaught.___________TO REDMAN: tillis was 6'1" not 6'4" tyson was 19 and green,tillis was a cagey "hard to figure out" veteran,case closed! bonecrusher got a rib injury(from a tysoon shot) in the 1st rd. and held for the remainder of the most boring "fight" imaginable(his purse should have been withheld!) case closed! green,fought in spurts but also held and never! kept mike at bay with his jab(reach). so,once again your argument blows! case closed! watch the fight and learn fool!
