It's tough depending on how,the fighter struggles to make weight ..I. Don't think. Martinez is ever out of shape but it should be no issue but for a guy like Canelo that could make a difference same with Chavez Jr .

The commission brought up the knee brace issue for safety reasons. They are trying to be overly safe due to their fuk up of the Mago fight last year. The 159 catch weight was Sergio teams offer, and Cotto's team accepted it. He even said as much in the Face Off, that Cotto could have asked for a lower catch weight, but he accepted their first offer of 159.
