Golovkin is the complete fighter.

If Golovkin learns how to fight dirty and rough guys up on inside, he could beat Ward possibly.

 

Very, very hard to call on Ward - Golovkin, I have to call Ward for now as the bigger and more proven guy, but both are extremely cerebral fighters. They can think and adapt and adjust as they fight, and this would be as much a battle of wits as physique and technique.

If I see Golovkin dominate a decent SMW - Bika, Kessler, Jr, for instance (beating Froch would of course be an epic story all of its own), I might start to reconsider, but I just don't think it's one that could be called against Ward without a great deal more evidence of GGGs ability. And Ward sure as hell ain't fighting at 164.

Because a fighter that is too offensive minded is very beatable, when matched against the wrong guy.. Say prime James Toney, or Bernard Hopkins come to mind.

I disagree with Bulldog 24 quite a bit, but to call him a newbie and welcoming him to the sport is something I wont do, because he has been watching boxing and seen live fights long before I did and i am 30. Bulldog/atberry has very good textbook boxing knowledge, and we have yet to see GGG in there against an elite slick fighter. So we have no idea really.. The GGG hype train is insane.

 

In other words..GGG is white and according to Pimp C the racist you have to be black to be a complete fighter.

 

Can't all the naysayers just let everyone get all fired up about the latest big punching pressure fighter? This is a tradition. Explosive attacking puncher arrives on the scene, blows up bums, blows up a couple decent contenders, blows up a belt holder or two. His management finaly feels its safe to put big puncher in with a superb boxer, big puncher loses late in the fight, either by ko or one sided UD.

We all know its gonna happen. We've all seen this story before many times. When GGG loses, let's see how many of his fans stick with him. I will, because I won't be shocked or overly dissappointed.

I would keep him away from Ward for sure. First option after beheading Geale should be winner of Cotto Martinez. If that isn't an option, then go for Chavez jr, 3rd option Froch. If they are fighting each other, why not Kessler. He's mentioned Golovkins name and he's rusty.

GGG should get his first true big time fight with millions watching before the end of the year.

 

Duran, JCC, and Ricardo Lopez are but three examples of fighters who were tough to hit on the way in. GGG's D isn't porous, but he gets tagged with more frequency than those three.

 

Froch-GGG would be the fight I want to see most after Froch's recent performance.

 

If someone bashes the Klitschkos, GGG and Manny, they also happen to be black. That is not an opinion it is a fact:deal

Roy Jones also hit harder than GGG most likely, and it was almost impossible to hit Roy clean in his prime.
