Froch v Groves 1 million PPV's - Are the Americans ready to take the plunge?

Not a hope Mayweather khan does 3 Million! Jesus what are you smoking no fight in America has done close to 3m besides it's no contest a ppv in the UK is 20 quid or so in America it's 75 dollars if the UK ppv did twice as much as Showtime Floyd still makes more in Vegas. Also the gate would be less over here.

 

Sky Tv,to my knowledge has not released it's figures for the Froch PPV.What is your source?:huh

 

Read the thread my man. COMBINED. 1 mill in the US, and trust me it would do 2 mill here if he came over. SKY would understandably up the PPV to £25/£30, chuck in the currency conversion, the live gate and the combined PPV split, it clearly is a massively lucrative fight.

Like I said, Mayweather is running out of options and if you take out the Canelo fight his figures have been below par.

Just rumours but a lot of trade reps are saying it did well over 800K.

Yes mayweather is a huge draw but Khan is not. You do know that Khan's PPV numbers on Sky were low right. People were not buying his fights!

casuals bought the froch vs Groves fight in droves as they felt it was a even contest that could go either way.

I dont see people believing Khan could win the fight. Even in Hatton's prime, the PPV numbers vs floyd were fantastic but thats because people bought into the fight and actually believed Hatton would win. Yeah they may have been silly but they genuinely thought he could win the fight.
