Really, they fought before? That must have been a long time ago when Froch was just starting out.

I just find it hard to believe that Ward still acts like he holds all the cards if it ever came to him and Froch making the rematch. I would love to see Froch v Ward in the uk, and yeah slim chance of Froch winning but why is Ward so adamant against going where the big money and the big challenges are. After all he is supposed to be the best SMW out there so what's he afraid of?

Ward didn't say he wouldn't come over to England, he just said the money has to be right when considering he is the no1 in the division & already holds a win over Froch.. Eddies Hearn is still to make such an offer, or any offer at all.

Ward-nuthuggers might not realize it, but as it seems now Ward needs Froch more than other way.

In Frochs Situation now, I would try to get Bika in the ring for November in Vegas and get back the green belt first, then make a big career ending fight by end of May 15, against Chavez who may will hold Abrahams WBO title, cause hes mando..

So he can retire als unified division champ in mid of next year

so who cares about Andre Ward, who needs him? :deal

    Fraud is irrelevant.

Nobody cares about him because I've been to more exciting funerals than his fights. Plus he's a black hole of charisma.

Froch is right to look for more exciting fights that people will be interested in, look at the money he's made from the Groves rematch. Another exciting match will add another couple of million into his bank whereas a fight with Fraud; who will care?

Nobody because Fraud is the dullest boxer on the planet and everybody knows that.

It was boring the first time. It will be boring if they do it again. Ward is too quick for him. Froch can only have good fights against guys who come to him, and even then he is so slow the opponent has to wave his chin out there for a couple of seconds so Froch can pick it up. Blimey, there it is.

Not saying Ward needs to fight Froch but he needs to fight someone, he is wasting his prime years.

No one really left to fight at 168 LBS other than Chavez ( don't really rate as highly as others,) and GGG who fights at middleweight.

I understand Ward make 168 lbs without much trouble but I feel he has the skills to move up in weight and still be elite. 175 lbs has many great fights.

Ffs.... It's a money thing for gods sake if froch beats Chavez then a fight with ward in England in a football stadium would be for big money and then I am sure froch would sign but I can't see ward doing it

A single win several years ago isn't going to pay his mortgage or fund his lifestyle on into retirement.

You think Froch wants his last fight to be him getting schooled in front of 10s of 1000s of people?

The fight is as big now as it will ever be. Theres no one at 168 for Ward to beat to raise his profile, hes already beaten them all.

If Froch could fight Ward in a football stadium, he'd have tried to make the fight by now...its not going to get any bigger in England by beating Chavez.

Hearn has already said, Ward cant sell out a living room, why would Froch fight him when he can fight JKessler and Chavez and make more money?

See I am not sure what the issue is. Thats the handful of people on forums I was talking about.

People are talking like Froch owes Ward something, thats just not the case.

If your goal with the last couple fights of your career is to entertain with the best fights in front of the most people, Ward is not an option. So what if Ward would be favored to win. The only people in the world who care are a handful of posters on ESB and Max Kellerman.

Froch is not the GOAT, he knows it, and has indicated he is fine with his legacy as it stands.
