The promoters and networks who wanted to make Golovkin-Chavez and Stephenson-Kovalev ruined those fights by not putting up sufficiently enticing offers. I agree though, anyone who gets the fighters better compensated vs. the suits is probably bad for boxing and is definitely worse than all around swell dudes like Arum and King.

Look, if a guy goes broke, HE has to take responsibility for some of his failings. Baby's mommas, friends, jewelry all cost. Trinidad has 9 million and 25 million in debts. That isn't all King's fault. Look at Michael Vick as an example. He had financial felons as his financial advisers. The fighters should be smart. If you've have grossed 10 million and you're life and go broke. No sympathy for you. As for Haymon, Rios got more for Manny than Ortiz, Maidana, and Guerrero got for Floyd so is Haymon REALLY that good? Personally know Clottey still has his cake and fought for Arum a while.

The thread starter is a Gimp and a racist.

No fans knows who Haymon is or even exactly what he offers fighters to have them sign with him in droves, so to say he is bad for boxing is disrespectful to the hordes of professional boxers who have signed with him as their advisor.

The only reason someone who DKSAB would dislike Haymon is becasue they hate seeing an african American doing large things.

In case you haven't noticed, the only guys who think Mayweather and Haymon are gods are black dudes. I'm not saying it is or isn't true. Blacks will ride with these dudes till the end...

The reason Oscar and Arum teamed up, is cos they knew what Haymon was up to. Now if Arum and GBP fighters can meet each other, but not Haymon, what is Haymon gonna do? In-house fights? His stable is too small for that, ultimately he will fail.

    STFU black korea.

Anyone with an ounce of economic understanding will tell you a monopoly is bad for the sport. That being said, i do appreciate Al's ability to provide big paydays to his fighters (even if it's undeserved sometimes but hey Top Rank got zou shiming).

My biggest issue is how he keeps getting in the way of big fights for his own advantage (hence trying to create a monopoly in boxing).
