Is Sergio gay? I have no idea, he doesn't seem particularly gay but not all gays do. It doesn't matter anyway.

That wasn't the OP, that was me, and I told you how I think that would be, and you have no counter argument for it. Even if 10% of participants came out as gay it would quickly become known as the gay sport, you can't see how many would quickly disassociate themselves that??

 

I'll counter it very simply. If people stopped watching boxing, merely because other people started to suspect them of being homo***ual, which sounds more ridiculous when I type it, then good riddance to them.

I don't think it would become known as the gay sport because people know there is nothing gay about punching someone.

10% of the participants coming out as gay is unlikely to happen because as far as I know less than 10% of the male population is gay and (no offense intended) homo***ual men are in general more feminine so are less likely to enjoy or excel in this type of sport.
