He doesn't want to get countered.

Sergio is setting him up for a big left to the head with those body shots.

That is the most brilliant thing about his performance tonight.

    Power, focus, precision...and RESTRAINT.

Nah, Mosley stunned Mayweather just like Mayweather stunned Cotto. Neither guy left their feet.

An almost KO would be like Pavlik-Taylor I where Pavlik couldn't even stay upright after the KD. Pavlik was stumbling around like a drunk and by a miracle made it out of the round.

That left hook is landing at will for Cotto.

Almost thinking round one was more of a case of Sergio not being warm or something.... Or have we just seen the last remains of Sergio in round 12 against Chavez Jr

He is fighting a guy with no legs for Christ sakes. At a catch weight. Anyone could be doing what he is doing right now against a cripple.

    Round 6

Martinez is circling left, using the full ring, back hitting the ropes. Martinez is kicking his legs out, breaking into a light trot in reverse, flailing with the right jab. Cotto is throwing flurries at the chest and BIG left hooks on the chin, turning Martinez's face as he scissors his legs. Martinez is countering with both hands, lightly, not planting his feet and putting any torque on anything.

    10-9 Cotto

    60-51 Cotto
