    Martinez looked terrible. Completely pathetic.

Martinez is a complete warrior I am shocked he quit.

He needs to retire. Lost against Murray as well

Was rooting for Cotto, but it was sad to see Martinez go down like that.

Happy for Cotto....looked like a beast, reminded me of the Cotto of old. The Martinez apologists will blame knees and braces etc but dude quit on his stool.

and the New WBC MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WOOOORLD....

Good performance by Cotto but in all reality this Maravilla could have lost to anyone who is named in top30. It's time to hang em up.

I give it up to my man Sergio Martinez. I don't know what the heck happened to his knee in the first round, but the man has the heart of a lion.

It's a shame they had to call it. Martinez can't retire like this though. :/

So I guess since Cotto was so dominant against a heathy opponent we can expect to see him fight GGG now at. 160 and no catch weight?

His knee is shot. You cannot box with ligament damage on your knee. You cant twist, move, duck, slip. It effects everything. Cotto looked good, but it's difficult to say how good. He was fighting a one-legged fighter. If anything he should've finished him earlier.
