Nothing is impressive about a guy in his early 30's beating up a 40 year old.

Cotto a fighter that was considered by most this forum shot, and faded. So impresive by me. People are acting now like Cotto is in his prime.

I always give credit to any boxer who wins against another boxer. But cotto didnt beat a boxer, he beat an old guy who forgot his walking stick

Lol a lot of people here said that even a 70 percent or even 50 could beat his small shot midget. Sftfu The midget just won a shocking win.

It's clear Martinez wasn't his best, but that doesn't diminish Cotto's performance tonight. Miguel boxed beautifully, fought smart, and deserves full credit for turning in such a dominant performance.

Cotto looked phenomenal regardless of Martinez's condition. He was sharp and accurate with his shots, controlled distance, and never let Martinez land a single big shot. Beautiful.

With that said, Martinez was obviously completely and utterly shot. Nothing left. But still a great performance by Cotto. He deserves credit for doing what not many thought he could, even if Martinez met him halfway.

Considering that resident ESB god Floyd Mayweather did not have the balls to get in the ring with Sergio, and that everyone was saying Sergio would destroy Miguel, I give Miguel full credit. He fought the fight he needed to win, and at the age of 33 looks the best he has in his career. Full credit.

Between so so and legit. It's legit and fair, but I don't think Martinez was really healthy. But that's just the way it goes sometimes. Athletes get sick, they get hurt, they have off-nights, etc....Cotto fought great and kicked his ass.

You should have made it public. Sergio limps around the ring and with secret poll, some people are going to vote legit regardless just 'cause.

None. If he really wanted to step up, why didn't he take the fight 2 years ago when Sergio would have come down to 154?

Max calling him the Lineal champ made me want to vomit.
